I hope everyone had a rockin' New Year's Eve, and an enjoyable New Year's Day. ♥ I suppose this is where I do the holiday rundown thing, since I haven't done one yet. Been waiting for all my presents first. X3!

7) WTF. It suddenly rained today, and the weather's been cooling down all week. It'll be in the 60s by Friday. I'm getting freaked out since last year at this time, we were in the scorching 100s. Well, at least the electricity bill is lower since we're not running the air conditioner.

8) ... a corollary to #6 sort of: I wish I could afford all the DS games that I want to buy. Like Henry Hatsworth, and Shin Megami Tensei, and everything else. *sigh*

This is gonna be a sort of "catch up" post for me, so expect it to be edited as things happen.

First of all, I updated my Project Runway post for my review and ranting about the episode. Feel free to jump in and debate with me about what happened. :3 THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE.

Second, I'll be working more on the crossdressing!Riku fic for questofdreams, so once I'm done I'll probably tell everyone and link it here.

Third... fuck you Shippuden. I watched episode 42 (KyuuNaru!!) and read the translation for the latest manga chapter, and this is exactly why I'll never be free of Naruto. Damn you, Kishimoto, for bringing the good crack. And KyuuNaru's "... :D... :D?" face is cute in a disturbing way. *shakes fist at*

It's really fucking cold in the library all of a sudden. *shivers hard* I'm wearing layers and put on my sweater, but it's still cold. Very distracting. XP Earlier it was pleasantly warm and comfortable.

I nearly poked my eye out trying to re-adjust my glasses because things were looking fuzzy. U____U;; I'm wearing my contacts. This will take more getting used to.

I'm back. Finally.

I was there from 8:30AM until almost Noon, and I talked to 4 different people in the HR staff, plus the lady I met last week for lunch (just dropped in tot ouch base and such). I think... well, I feel okay. I think things went well, and I hoped I answered questions right and made myself sound smart and knowledgable and enthusiastic and stuff. ;___; I hope I didn't mess up somewhere that I didn't notice. I get the call on Monday omg.

Have some lists, because this is a listy day and I'm in a listy mood.

Food Eaten:

-- Two (2) pieces of JOLT gum (two pieces = 1 cup of coffee in caffeine -- v. excellent! I started shaking once it kicked in!)
-- One (1) piece of Starbuck's After Coffee Gum
-- One-fourth (1/4) of a butter croissant (later ate half on the drive home)
-- A few sips of Caramel Machiatto (alas, the coffee ;__; a waste -- good thing I only bought a tall)
-- water

Yes, I'm going to eat real food now. My lunch is cooking as I type. I'm starved.

Drove through San Timeteo Canyon to get to the place, which not only cut my commute times by more than half (fucking construction on the freeways), but is rather fun, once you ignore the white crosses on the sides of the road. And the potholes. And the stupid people who put their trashcans right over the curb into the street when the road is ONE LANE EACH WAY. Yes, I drove safely. No, I didn't pass anyone, because that's suicide. Even if that truck in front of me was really slow.

Animals Nearly Crushed Under the SUV Wheels:

-- One (1) hawk (it totally dove for something right in front of me, I was scared I was gonna hit it)
-- One (1) squirrel (it was stupid and ran into the middle of the road. and stopped. i should've gunned it instead of mashing the brakes in panic)

I think that's it.

Well, I need to pick up my mom from work, but not until 4:30PM.

Food time. And soda. Yay.

-- I have an awful crick in my neck. ;__; It hurts and I guess I slept funny. I've been trying to stretch it out and stuff, but it's not going away.

1) Dir en Grey is doing the Family Values Tour? With Korn? WTF. Did the world suddenly spin on its head while I took a nap? But still... Dir en Grey!

2) I feel like I'm the only one eating that chocolate cheesecake in the fridge. It makes me feel all weird and greedy. But I don't wanna waste food and throw it out. Why couldn't my cousin and Ate eat more of it while they were here?

3) All the fandom kerfluffle is stirring up the muses. I just might drive one of the boys insane again and kill them. It's been awhile since I did that. Or I just might write more fluff. Or actually write smut. *pokes muses with a stick*

4) CLAMP is going to AX. *weeps bitter bitter tears of BLOOD* CLAMP torments me so!

5) There is no five. Well, I guess this will count as five. Huh. Retract that first bit then.

2. I have a new cellphone! Sorta. My cell broke itself in Vegas, and I finally got the replacement phone shipped to me. Yay for warranties. *pets cell*

3. Happy Birthday to everyone who had a birthday! I know I've missed a number of them because my mind has not been in one place lately. And I keep thinking that I've written in LJ when I haven't. I hate when I do that.

4. I am totally craving breakfast. Like with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, the works. Damn hormonal cravings.

5. I really like French manicures and pedicures. My fingers and toes look very nice and cute and match with everything.

6. It's late and I'm tired.

7. I really need to put more songs on my iPod. Yondy-chan is lonely.
