A little late but...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a rockin' New Year's Eve, and an enjoyable New Year's Day. ♥ I suppose this is where I do the holiday rundown thing, since I haven't done one yet. Been waiting for all my presents first. X3!



Christmas was pretty decent, for all that it was very small. No family came over this year, because my Ate Bing is working in the Philippines now (she got a sweet promotion), so she wasn't here. We're sort of going to be having the 'family' Christmas at the end of January when she comes back for a visit (she was here for Thanksgiving) and at the same time as my Kuya Digo's birthday. Hopefully she will give me a PSP.

So Christmas was just me and my parents, which wasn't too bad. Midnight Mass was good as always. For some reason, when I was there this year, I was hit by a sudden feeling of nostalgia. I suddenly felt like I was ten years old again, singing all the familiar hymns and looking at all the candles and the comforting scent of the incense. Midnight Mass is... well, it's like it's always the same. I like that sort of warm and familiar feeling. Plus, the priests sang, which was funny but touching at the same time.

The 'real' Christmas for me was sort of during New Year's, when Pet, Aoi, K-chan, and I all got together to do our gift exchanging. We basically stayed up watching stupid things on TV and gossiping and such, and that's always fun. Then was dinner at midnight, which was delicious. I didn't go to work on Friday either, since no one was there, and I would've just had to sit in the office by myself, alone, for 8 hours with nothing to do. I watched the Rose Parade and hung out with Pet instead. |D;;

And now, the loot! Not a whole lot this year, since my parents never give me presents anymore, but that's okay. I loved everything I got. ♥

-- a popcorn bowl set (lolz time to bust out the buttery salty goodness again)

-- Big Bang Mini for DS (I'm going to scratch the hell out of my screen because of this game XD)
-- a pretty mug (omg I don't want to use it ;o; )
-- swanky MAC makeup
-- a tin of homebaked cookies (which I have eaten all of already)
-- the new Sora and Riku avatar mascot straps ♥
-- A PLUSHIE REPLIKU. OMG. ♥ ♥ ♥

Now, if only GameStop would release that 20% off used DS games coupon, I could use my giftcard there and buy even more fun things.
