This is it. I'm leaving the house in a little bit to go to the hotel, so I'm pretty much going to be absent from LJ and online for the rest of the week. Even if the hotel has free wireless, I think I'll be too stressed out to take advantage of it.

As I did last time, this is now A TOTAL SPAM POST.

Run wild, people. Link me to anything you want me to see or read, babble endlessly, RP in here, or -- and Mikke did this once and holds the spamming title in my LJ for it -- post all your fic here. XD! I approve of cat macros and pictures of cute animals. I also approve of smutty pr0n (fics and art yayz), and cuddly domesticity (fics and art yayz). Go ahead and try to break my e-mail, and give me much love.

♥ ♥ ♥

EDIT...

It's 2pm and I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm checked in and such. And the internets are not free. ;__; But I've got one day of it so I will see if Trickster works.

Oh, and...

ONLY 15 COMMENTS?! I SAID TO SPAM. SPAM LIKE YOU MEAN IT.

"Secrets night?" Giles echoed incredulously. "Buffy, are you... absolutely sure?"

The Slayer smiled wickedly at her Watcher from her seat atop one of his file cabinets. "Yep. I'm sure. I want us to get together, the whole Scooby Gang, and lay out our deepest, darkest secrets for each other to see."

Buffy, Giles, and Oz were gathered in the library that evening, not for any real purpose, but merely to celebrate the total lack of purpose that had recently been the story of their lives. After a year of living on the Hellmouth, Giles was quite happy with those days when absolutely nothing was happening. Or, at least, he would have been, except those times were the perfect times for his Slayer to spring surprises on him. Such as this one.

"You're kidding, right?" Oz said uncertainly. As much as he adored Willow and respected the rest of the Slayer Squad, there were some things you did NOT tell your friends.

Buffy turned to glare at him, as much as daring him to challenge her fun. "I'm kidding, wrong. I'm tired of being in the dark by my friends, always uncertain, never quite sure if there's some great secret I don't know. This will solve that problem once and for all, and will help you guys be more at ease with one another! Spare no secrets."

Giles was determined to stop her, but unsure how. "Buffy," he began, "if you go through with this you will find that there are some things you really didn't want to know! You'll wish for the old uncertainty back, mark my words."

Buffy shook her head resolutely. "If there's something I don't know, I want to know about it. That especially goes for you, Mr. Dark Secrets guy," she added, turning to include the lurking vampire in the conversation.

A little embarrassed at having been spotted, Angel stepped forward to join the group. Buffy surveyed the three like a drill sergeant sizing up new recruits. "Secrets Night," she commanded. "When's a good time?"

Angel was nearly panicked. This had to be headed off as soon as possible. But when Buffy got this determined, there was no way to divert her save through trickery or violence. He thought fast. "How about Thursday?" he offered in a flash of inspiration. It was a desperate reach, but hopefully until it was too late Buffy wouldn't realize...

Giles' eyes widened in alarm as he saw his best supporter apparently capitulate to Buffy's unreasonable demand, but Angel caught Giles' eyes and indicated that he knew what he was doing.

"Thursday's good," agreed Giles rather hesitantly. Oz, looking back and forth for an escape, but finding none pinned under the Slayer's commanding gaze, had no choice but to swallow his line about band practice.

"I'll see you all here Thursday night, then. And, oh," Buffy added, "don't even think about standing me up. I know where you live." On that ominous note, Buffy swept out the door, presumably to find Willow and Xander and persuade—or perhaps 'bully' would be a better word—her friends into making an appearance.

By hook or by crook, or by promise of refreshments, that Thursday night in the library the scene opened to find every one of our heroes, and a few sidekicks too, gathered in a circle in the library for some quality soul-baring time. Through some details I don't feel like writing right now, the Slayer had even managed to convince her long-standing enemies, Spike and Drusilla, to join in the fun, although they were late. Giles and Oz looked distinctly uncomfortable, and Willow and Angel has acquired nearly identical strained expressions. Jenny looked simultaneously nervous and pleased to be included. Xander was the only one who looked serene.

Buffy looked over the lot triumphantly, as does a conquering monarch who is about to see his enemies kneel and swear fealty. “Now,” she said, “this is how it works. We go around the circle, and start by divulging all the big, dark secrets. Try and summarize; we’ll get into the picky little details later. Nobody, and I mean nobody, interrupts. Clear?”

Subdued nods. The Slayer appeared to have her Slayerettes well in hand.

Suddenly, there was a tremendous crash from the back of the library; the sound of several shelves worth of books (and some bookshelves) hitting the floor at a time. Buffy leapt out of her chair, spitting curses like a cat, as Spike, Drusilla and a whole bunch of minions trooped into the room.

“Hello, loves,” Spike said cheerily. “Glad I could make it!”

Buffy glared, but didn’t respond, except to say, “All right. Sit down. And send your boys away.”

A few well placed words from Spike, punctuated by a few growls from Drusilla, sent the other vampires scurrying. Angel and Willow took the newcomers aside for briefing as Buffy glared around, daring someone else to interrupt. Nobody did. Spike and Dru took their places in the empty chairs between Xander and Oz as Buffy sat again.

“Now,” Buffy commanded. “Total share mode.” She pointed at Cordelia. “You first.”

Cordelia took a deep breath, as if nervous or unsure how much to say. Her hands rubbed nervously against the fabric of her jeans as she began, hesitantly, to speak.

“I... I’m not sure how to say this, I’ve been hiding it so long... I just want you guys to know that actually, I’ve wanted to be friends with you—especially you—” she nodded at Xander and Willow, “—for as long as I’ve known you. I just never felt that I was good enough for you, deep inside, so I tried to pretend like I didn’t care, that I thought you were a bunch of losers, until I was caught in my own web of lies...” Cordelia broke off abruptly, covering her face with her hands, her shoulders shaking. Without another word, she got up and fled the room.

The Slayerettes stared after her. Murmuring an excuse, Oz got up and went after her. One by one, the others looked to Jenny, who had been sitting next to Cordelia.

“My turn?” she asked. “Oh... okay. I’m not really a computer teacher. I’m actually a gypsy demon enchantress. I was drawn here by the mystical energy of the Hellmouth. Currently, I’m sneaking into the library at night and going through Rupert’s books, looking for a way to thwart a prophecy concerning my death. I think I may have something, but it involves the ritual sacrifice of someone with whom I’ve—” She cut herself off with a cough, darting a quick, guilty glance at Giles. “—well, we can get into details later.” She turned to Giles, who was next in line.

He blinked at her in astonishment. “You’ve been going through my...” Glares from the other Slayerettes hurried him on. “Ah. Yes. My secrets. Well, to start with, I’m fond of playing Frank from Rocky Horror Picture show. I’m married to a vampire sorceress, and my invincible children have returned to kill us all. Plus I like coffee. Taster’s Choice.”

On this note, Oz returned. “Sorry, did I miss anything?” he asked Willow as he sat down next to her. She filled him in quietly as Angel began to speak.
