windandwater: (tentacles!)

This is just to make it official for those who don't know, but I'm leaving LJ completely. For the rest of this week at least. Tomorrow is the Bar Exam and it runs for three days, so don't expect to see me about at all until Thursday night. Or even until the weekend since I plan on spending Thursday after the Bar drunk and crying. No online time for me at all. *whines* It will be hard, but I know I can do it.

So, because I'm a total h0r like that, I am declaring this to be a spam post. Go ahead. Run wild! Give me fics, give me links, give me pics, just babble to your heart's content and rape my inbox so I have something to see when I finally DO come back to the wonderful world of LJ. I don't even care if you write me a drabble and post it one word at a time. XD;

Though, I've tried to make a spam post before and it failed a bit miserably, so I don't have very high expectations this time around. Feel free to prove me wrong though!

Pairings: 2x1, so to speak
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters portrayed in the following story. The mall is a local mall but unfortunately for me Duo-kun and Hee-chan don't go there. Man, I wish....
Warnings: Shounen-ai, orange-level citrus, exhibitionism

Heero scowled as Duo tugged him through the mall crowd. The longhaired boy was acting like an absolute idiot, not that that was so much of a change -- bouncing from store to store, ducking around shoppers and underneath their burdens, pulling on Heero's hand like a two-year old. Heero eyed the swinging braid speculatively. He's an idiot. But he's my idiot. My beautiful, sensual idiot...

"Duo, let go of my hand," he said in an absolutely level voice.

Duo flashed him back a brilliant grin. "Can't do that, Hee-chan! If I let you go, you might get lost!"

"I do not appreciate being led around like a three-year-old," Heero growled, as Duo pulled him into the food court. Despite the busy crowd, there were plenty of empty tables to chose from. Once out of the press of people, Heero wrested his hand away.

Duo pouted, as he scanned the food court for a suitable spot. "Have it your way, Heero." A moment later, though, the grin had returned, and his arm shot out with a finger pointing. "There's one! Good lines of sight, close to the exit -- think that'll satisfy your soldier's paranoia?"

"No," Heero denied flatly. "This entire mall trip is poor practice for a soldier. It's too crowded -- one explosion in the wrong place could mean utter catastrophe." He followed the direction Duo had indicated. "That said, yes, that does look like a satisfactory place to eat."

"Great!" Duo glomped onto Heero, slipping an arm around his waist, and pulled him across the court to the designated table.

"Duo..." Heero warned.

"What?" Duo's voice was all innocence. "You said you wanted me to let go of your hand, well, I did!" He moved his head to nuzzle against Heero's shoulder.

A touch of color rising in his face, Heero peeled his enthusiastic boyfriend away from him. "People can see us!" he hissed, pushing Duo into one of the wireframe chairs before dropping into the one on the opposite side of the table.

"Yeah, so?" Duo challenged, a spark rising in his eyes. "Since when do you care what people think?"

"We're in a public place," Heero muttered, only slightly subdued. "And no matter how liberal Sank proclaims itself to be, people still aren't accepting of a same-sex relationship."

Duo pushed himself up until he was kneeling on the seat of the chair, leaning over the plastic table. He brought his face close to Heero's, a decidedly wicked smile hovering about his lips. "So are you saying," he murmered, "that I can't do this?" He then proceeded to kiss Heero, very deeply and thouroughly.

Objections were forgotten for the moment as Duo concentrated on Heero's tonsils, and almost without thinking he brought his hands up to caress his koibito's face.

The sound of a wolf whistle brought Heero out of his preoccupation, and Heero's eyes slitted open and scanned for the source of the noise. Over Duo's shoulder, he could see three teenaged girls sitting at a table, staring at Heero, Heero's table, and Duo's backside with a great deal of unabashed interest.

"Uh, Duo," Heero gasped as he broke off the kiss and pushed his boyfriend back across the table into his seat. "We're being watched."

Duo twisted to look over his shoulder. He grinned and waved at the girls, who waved cheerily back. "Who, them?" he asked, turning back around in his seat. "They're just bishie-shippers."

"They're what?" Heero would never have admitted it under severe interrogation, but that kiss had severely fried his brains. Duo had that effect on him.

"Oh, you know!" Duo stretched, keeping an eye out for the reactions of his audience as he did so. "Some teenage girls like to cruise malls and keep an eye out for hot guys."

Heero scowled at the girls, giving them his best Glare of Doom. It didn't have quite the reaction he was expecting; they only giggled and grinned back at him.[1] One of them quite deliberately checked him out from head to foot, eyes lingering on his spandex. The scrutiny did not help his persistant blush anyway.

He turned back to Duo, who was shamelessly posing, much to the girls' delight. Heero was not amused; he did not appreciate anyone flirting with his boyfriend, as certain as he was that Duo did not return any real interest. "So, is their admiration for you, or for me?" he asked grumpily.

Duo's flirtatious grin faded as he turned back to see his lover's discomfiture, to be replaced by a more serious, intense scrutiny. Whatever he found there prompted him to scoot a little closer, though, and lay a gentle kiss on Heero's lips.

"I think," he murmured through the encouraging catcalls that followed, "that they're cheering for us."
