I always thought Hisoka had seme-ish tendencies myself. XD And, no... this doesn't mean that I am uke. I just took the quiz because I was bored.

Date: 2003-10-03 12:51 am (UTC)I can see where TatsumixTsuzuki comes from. I like that prior to Hisoka showing up, but I think Tatsumi recognizes that Hisoka is better for Tsuzuki, and he backs off to allow Hisoka his chance. That makes me like Tatsumi a lot.
I can also see where MurakixHisoka comes from, but it's too disturbing for me. I've been burned by a few "I'll rape you and you'll think it's love" fics. Maybe I'm sensitive to it because a friend of mine was raped. Anyway, it's the kind of relationship I can't read. The weird thing is, in spite of that, I find Muraki fascinating. I just can't read him having sex with anyone. *hopes that isn't confusing*

Not only every conceivable harm up to and including death, but now he's trying to hurt the one person Hisoka cares about and keep them from being happy together. I find the Hisoka an Muraki dynamic even more fascinating than the Tsuzuki/Muraki one, which is mostly one-sided.

That is a very interesting angle, one I've never seen in any fic. Not that I've read much Yami, yet. I have no knowledge of the manga, so I don't know if that idea has been explored there or not. I think I could get into reading that. I'd need to know though why Muraki wants to hurt Hisoka that much. I always thought Hisoka was mostly just a tool to get to Tsuzuki. It would be interesting if it was a lot more personal than that. Or maybe it's just resentment on Muraki's part that Hisoka and Tsuzuki get together and keep Muraki from getting Tsuzuki.

Ah, but how would you write Hisoka and Muraki without it being one-sided? See, now you've got me curious.... *grin*

And it's shown that Hisoka has some sort of connection to Muraki. Things might get dark and twisted, but some sort of relationship (not healthy at all though) could come out of that.

Date: 2003-10-04 02:12 am (UTC)That's also why I rarely read stories where antagonists get together. I'm more fond of best friends hooking up. Fuuma/Kamui is the notable exception, but even there I generally prefer them before Fuuma changed (or when Fuuma momentarily lapses back into being his old self).
