I always thought Hisoka had seme-ish tendencies myself. XD And, no... this doesn't mean that I am uke. I just took the quiz because I was bored.

I've always thought that Hisoka was someone who would bottom for his seme (in my mind, Tsuzuki), but yet he'd still be the one controlling things. In many ways, I think he's much more mature and has more common sense than Tsuzuki. That's part of why Hisoka is my favorite character in Yami.

Well, I think that in the case of TsuzukixHisoka, Hisoka would be in control from the bottom... but in the case of TatsumixTsuzuki, Tatsumi would be in charge all across the board. Poor Tsuzuki takes it coming and going. so to speak. *cough*

Of course, in the case of MurakixHisoka (and am I really the only one to see this vibe? it's a scary vibe, but it's there and nobody ever explores it!) Hisoka's in the running-away-screaming position... but yes. In general he's a boi who knows what he wants.

I'm following my usual pattern in Yami. I have a favorite character, Hisoka. I like him best with one person, Tsuzuki. I like him as uke, but I don't see him as the typical yaoi uke (like Mizuki in Level C, for example). My guy has attitude. Sound like Duo and 1x2 yet? *grin* I'm the same way in X, Saiyuki and TeniPuri, too.

I can see where TatsumixTsuzuki comes from. I like that prior to Hisoka showing up, but I think Tatsumi recognizes that Hisoka is better for Tsuzuki, and he backs off to allow Hisoka his chance. That makes me like Tatsumi a lot.

I can also see where MurakixHisoka comes from, but it's too disturbing for me. I've been burned by a few "I'll rape you and you'll think it's love" fics. Maybe I'm sensitive to it because a friend of mine was raped. Anyway, it's the kind of relationship I can't read. The weird thing is, in spite of that, I find Muraki fascinating. I just can't read him having sex with anyone. *hopes that isn't confusing*

Oh, I'm a TsuzukixHisoka fan all the way. ^^ Though it's obvious to me that Tsuzuki and Tatsumi used to have something going, I'd much rather see him with Tsuzuki. And I in no way think that the MurakixHisoka thing is good or healthy. @.@ Merely that they have a very strong vibe going between them, which is usually ignored in favor of focusing on Muraki's obsession with Tsuzuki.

But, I mean... Man! Is there anything that Muraki *hasn't* done to hurt Hisoka? Not only every conceivable harm up to and including death, but now he's trying to hurt the one person Hisoka cares about and keep them from being happy together. I find the Hisoka an Muraki dynamic even more fascinating than the Tsuzuki/Muraki one, which is mostly one-sided.

I think I agree with everything you said. *smile*

That is a very interesting angle, one I've never seen in any fic. Not that I've read much Yami, yet. I have no knowledge of the manga, so I don't know if that idea has been explored there or not. I think I could get into reading that. I'd need to know though why Muraki wants to hurt Hisoka that much. I always thought Hisoka was mostly just a tool to get to Tsuzuki. It would be interesting if it was a lot more personal than that. Or maybe it's just resentment on Muraki's part that Hisoka and Tsuzuki get together and keep Muraki from getting Tsuzuki.

I find the Hisoka an Muraki dynamic even more fascinating than the Tsuzuki/Muraki one, which is mostly one-sided.

Ah, but how would you write Hisoka and Muraki without it being one-sided? See, now you've got me curious.... *grin*

Well, I also like the idea of Hisoka topping from the bottom. But, I think if he wasn't locked at the age of 16 for the rest of his afterlife, and was say... allowed to be Tsuzuki's physical age, he would be totally seme.

I love Hisoka alot, and I do think that in some ways he's more mature than Tsuzuki. ^^

Actually, in the manga, Hisoka was supposed to die at 14, but Muraki kept him alive until 16 for... erhm... deviant purposes. ^^; I don't know much about their relationship in those two years, but Muraki was the family doctor. Maybe some sort of relationship could come out of that.

Of course, then Muraki killed him. So maybe that wouldn't work. ^^; But Hisoka doesstill have the spell Muraki placed on him on his body. And it's shown that Hisoka has some sort of connection to Muraki. Things might get dark and twisted, but some sort of relationship (not healthy at all though) could come out of that.

I think your view of Hisoka is very much like mine (in that Hisoka is the more mature one in many ways). It would be cool to read a story where Hisoka did somehow manage to age normally. I'd like to see what would happen if he and Tsuzuki were the same age. Maybe then Tsuzuki wouldn't try to resist him so much. *grin*

I can't imagine any kind of relationship but a dark and twisted one happening between Hisoka and Muraki. *grin* I can see where the potential is for it, but I don't think I could read it. Those kind of stories always leave me feeling out of sorts.

That's also why I rarely read stories where antagonists get together. I'm more fond of best friends hooking up. Fuuma/Kamui is the notable exception, but even there I generally prefer them before Fuuma changed (or when Fuuma momentarily lapses back into being his old self).
