But, speaking of prettying up... dude, you know what's embarrassing? Today I had some kind of interview, and because I'm pretty pale at the moment, I put on some make-up. (It's kinda telling how pale, when I mention that the tone 'vanilla' made me look like a crispy crunchy tanned surfer.)
So, make-up and all that crap and I also got some volume mousse in my hair to top it all off... and my uni friends didn't recognize me at first. *headdesks* So fucking humiliating! I can't look that different when I try to pretty up. And two of them were all "it suits you really well!" >_> They're all shallow twats.

Getting dolled up is weird. But it also makes you feel like you could take on the world.

A guy once offered to help me get my luggage from the train. And it was only afterwards that I realized... I was in make-up and a pin-stripe suit. :D Made all the difference.

And once I went to the bank while in a suit (I had an interview), and the bank people helped me right away. Like, I was barely in the line before someone came up to me to offer personal help.

See, I've discovered the wonders of volume mousse and volume hairspray. And you've seen what those curls can get up to when the hair's cut short... imagine it now that it's about reaching my shoulders. I'm curl central. And I'm gonna do a hair care commercial photoshop thing.

But at the moment my nose is all crummy from the cold, so I'll wait till that's cleared up. But then you'll get make-up pictures of my eighties rock star look. XD They'll be very embarrassing. ♥
