windandwaterOh my god, they actually did it. I KNEW SixApart was planning on jumping ship like a bunch of rats, but I didn't think it would be this soon. But LJ is now sold to a new company. SUP, which is based in Russia.

Russia is not Socialist, and hasn't been for 16 years, and it's actually improved a lot since. Yes, everything is very corrupt. No, the majority of people don't actually wear those hats.
The fact that Russian LJers took American acronyms and used the with Russian letters amuses me greatly. JL is about to be heavily monitored T___T and I'd appreciate not reading heavily anti-Russian posts, because it's not really Russia's fault, LJ sold itself to SUP like a whore, but my wish shall never be granted because people are stereotypical and prejudiced like that. T___T
