I've always been leery of that type of stuff, ever since my cousin did a patch test of Nair on their dog's tail and the Hair Never Grew Back. 0.0

Well, I don't think you're supposed to Nair a dog in the first place. I've used Nair before but have been sort of unimpressed with it. But this Veet stuff is way smellier (the chemical smell) and after a few minutes, it started to feel like my legs were burning. I guess it worked though, but I'm still unimpressed.

I really need to find a way to keep my legs smooth for longer. .__.;; Hopefully without going to waxing.

Ewww, Veet. It stinks so bad. XD

*pets your legs* But at least they're all smooth now. ♥ Now, where's that miniskirt?

Yeah it smells horrible. XP I'm glad I had the door open in my bathroom or the fumes would've killed me.

And no, not all smooth. .___. It sorta failed. Maybe I have to use it more.

Hm... Come to think of it, I wasn't the queen of veeting either with that one tube I bought.
It makes the hairs kinda dissolve, doesn't it? I'm trying to remember what exactly one had to do with that. Wash it off afterwards, right? - with that sponge the tube comes with. Yeeah. I remember it failed a little. I left it on real long, too. If that's the one I remember. I tried a couple of crazy promising things before I gave up. I shave now. It's kind of a hassle, but at least it doesn't stink or burn my epidermis off.

Yeah it sorta makes the hairs dissolve, but it also sorta... agitates your skin? I don't know how to describe it. Your hair sorta stands on end since it's dissolving the root too. Or it's supposed to.

... chemical burns suck. :/

They are all horrid, these so called diy waxes and dilapidatory creams.

That said, if you do insist on going through it, take some pain killers 1/2 before hand and consider using numbing creams.

Well, there was this one that I liked. It was a sugaring system and the stuff was sorta like thick honey. But it involved those strips that you rip off, and that was very x___X until you got used to it. Worked well though.

Those look too messy for a clumsy person like myself. lol I only tried shaving, creams and once, a waxing kit. I decided it was all too much and now just wear jeans. XD

So are you going to stick with the new system?

If I wax, I'd go to a salon or something so a professional could do it. But that's expensive. I might try it a few more times to see how well it works (once my legs get over the trauma), since I think if you let it grow out more it works better?

BUT I DON'T WANT IT TO GROW OUT. I WANT TO BE SMOOTH.

T__T I might just go back to shaving.

Have you tried those laser/light hair removal treatments? They do work out more economically in the long term.

But I think you are right, waxing requires hair to be of certain length, so the wax can grip the hair as oppose to your skin.

Nah, I haven't tried that yet. I'm sorta afraid of it because omglasers. That's why I don't want to get laser eye correction either. *wimp*

I wish I didn't take after my mom. ;_; My mom's side of the family is the hairy side. My dad has very smooth legs. D:

Lasers are so GW though, *grins* be brave like Heero!

I am scared of laser eye surgery too, being awake and having poke into you eye, not cool. However I am tempted by the permanent hair removal. I haven't heard anyone who had to go to hospital, unlike waxing and at worst it is just a waste of money.
