Yes, this is a Trickster post. Haven't had one for awhile.
First thing I did after logging-in was that I partied with Aoi's little Lion, xiukun. Gave her a refined Stone Sword and Blue Penguin pet to use. Since she's a Gunner, she can't carry a shield. Hopefully that Blue Penguin pet will help out her defense once she can use it. Then I gave her the Blue Drills that I had (2) and took her with me into the Rose Garden to drill. 8D! That was pretty fun, except that I kept getting heavy so I ended up slaughtering the monsters in Rose Field 1 to drop my weight from pots. I also ended up leveling up there, lvl 71 yay!!
After xiukun's Blue Drills ran out, Aoi took him to do the Wasps quest in SW Forest. I stayed drilling in Rose Garden (moved to Garden 2), but I forgot that the Angry Isabelles were there and died accidentally. >_>;; I wondered why it didn't die after 2 Arrow Rushes. I have a good number of 2nd Job items to sell off, so hopefully the patch doesn't change that yet. I wanna make my money first, before everything goes weird! DD:
Some more Rose Garden drilling, and then I realized that being lvl 71 meant that I could now do the Tritch quest from Love Hunter Robin at Phantom School. WOO HOO TMEXP!! I went there and did it all 5 times. It was sooooo easy, and I was getting about 3 minutes or under for each time, since I can OHKO a Tritch. Also picked up a bunch of Tree Saps (Moff, you can have these for comping AC if you want them). And hahahaha... alot of the Tritches dropped Prick Bucklers, so I NPCed them and made tons of galders. *___* And a TMlevel, which I really need. Just saving up those points for now though.
I was at a bit of a loss after completing the monster quests, then I decided to do some drilling and exploring, and burn some Ports. XP I teleported to Gate of Vamp Dungeon, then drilled and hunted in Rose Garden 4. I managed to get into a party, so that really helped. I can kill a Beast Vincento in 3 Arrow Rushes, 2 if all the arrows connect and I get crits. And it helps that of the Madames in this Garden, one is Magic weak and another is Dark weak. What was hilarious (Aoi heard me bitching) was that every time I died, I ended up back in Gate of Vamp. But there's a spawn point RIGHT at the portal back into the Garden. I think I ended up dying 5 times just because every time I exited, I got mobbed. I would come out, fling as many Arrow Rushes as I could to weaken the monsters, die, spawn in Gate of Vamp, heal myself, then run back out the portal. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. I kept doing that until the monster eventually all died, and the place was clear enough that I could actually leave that space. LOL.
... but if a Beast Vincento crits me or uses a skill on me (it's a Power monster, so it's magic weak), I die immediately. x___X It's so strong if you get in melee-range. And I only got ONE RED ROSE OF PASSION FROM THOSE BASTARDS. STINGY! The only thing that made it okay was that they also drop Sharp Long Swords and Kukuris. Whenever I made a pot run (which was often), I NPCed those bitches. But I'll have to keep a Sharp Long Sword for Dailan. Oh, and Makokun has enough Whalebones drilled up for comp Water onto a lvl 90+ Sword. ♥ He wants to surprise his Buffalo~
Oh oh oh! And I went into the first map of Vamp Dungeon just to see it, except I was scared of the monster, so I just drilled right next to the portal. My first drill, I got a CUSTOM WITCH HAT WITH 3 SLOTS. WOO HOO!! And then I got a Swift Main Gauche. And then a Maid Lydia killed me. >_>;; BUT CUSTOM WITCH HAT OMG. I'm keeping that for future use. ^___^
The party I was in eventually idled out, so I left the Rose Garden and decided to do the Snails quest as many times I could before the servers went down for the patch. I did it twice! And... didn't level up. BITCHES. I stopped at something like 98.4% to lvl 72. T___T I guess I know what I'll be doing the next time I get on Trickster.
