First, of all, if you haven't already and you're interested:

JOIN TRICKSTER NOW!

Trickster is doing another Refer-A-Friend Event, and they've made the rewards even BETTER this time. And not just for me who's getting the referrals! All new accounts made (referred) that get to level 20 by September 5th get 3 Gacha Coins, 50 G1 Pink Potions, 50 G1 Blue Potions (these are special MyShop potions that you normally have to pay for), and 5 Gift Boxes that have the Ginseng Equips in them. For referring you all I get is Gacha coins and 5 Gift Boxes (but I really want the Gift Boxes!). I am totally going to make a complete mule account just for those Gift Boxes. And it seems that if you make a character that gets to level 20 on each server (Jewelia and Fantasia), BOTH characters get the prizes!

Also, to make it even better for new people (and current players), also running is the How's Your Attendance? Event. Every single day that you log into your account from today until September 5th, you get 1 Old Passport, 1 Attendance Sheet, and 1 Revo Gift Box. AND YOU CAN LOG IN TO BOTH SERVERS AND GET THAT TWICE. If you log in every day for the 14 days, you get 2000 MyShop points. :3 This is something completely easy, since all you have to do is log-in and check your MyShop inventory for your prizes, and you don't even have to play or anything besides that if you don't want to.

The next event -- which really benefits everyone (new and old accounts) -- is the new Episode 0 Story Quest. Not only do you get stuff from the new Tutorial when you make a new account now (omg a Graduation Pet and a starter skill that costs 0TM to learn! I'm jealous!), you can do Episode 0 to learn more about the game and earn some easy EXP, TMexp, and rewards. Also, if you do all 3 Chapters of the Episode 0 Story Quest, you get 3 Revo Gift Boxes and 2 Gacha Coins per character. So if you have 3 characters on Jewelia and 3 characters on Fantasia, you can do this a total of 6 times and get prizes each time. And to make things EVEN EASIER... here, have the Episode 0 Quest Guide so you know exactly what you need to do and what you need to complete all the quests in the Episode.

I've already started doing Episode 0 on Makosensei (since he was already in Coral Beach) and it's pretty easy. The changes to the maps and monsters is pretty interesting so far, though the monsters now don't drop galders everytime they're killed. Also, the higher leveled monsters have their skills back. *winces* I better invest in more HP gear on Makokun.

Now I need to go log-in on Makokun and check how he's doing. I logged in right after the patch, and he's still in Master Mong's Village. I dunno if they took away Mong (didn't see him spawn), but I do know you can't drill there anymore. Plus I wanna check Makokun's inventory for his daily gifts. :3

Just log-in today on Jewelia and Fantasia at least, and check your MyShop Inventory! I don't want you to miss out on the Attendance Event. I took my Attendance Sheet out, and am keeping it on me at all times. I also took out my box and opened it, in case you have to in order to get tomorrow's box.

... you're not a gamer? o__O Isn't that blasphemy if you're a techie?

And it's a totally cute game. :3 Slaughter some cute monsters wholesale and you'll feel better. All you need to do is the Episode 0 Story Quest (follow the guide!) and you'll level up fast.

XD I see. Well, have fun with your first MMORPG. At least you don't have to pay for Trickster like you do with WoW.

XD! I told you it was fun and easy to level. The first 30 levels are the easiest, but then it gets harder the higher up you go. Be sure to read the guide on MyTrickster, if you need help with builds/skills/places to level.

Or you can ask me. ^___^ What characters are you playing?

well this game just grabs me like the old square SNES RPGs used to.

i'm playing a sense-type male (26) and a power-type male (16, now, I bought him the full Phoenix set and a nice pet)

I think i'll do okay by myself - all of this stuff is straightforward RPG ;)

I think it's the graphics really. And all the little quests you can do.

And so you're a Lion and Buffalo? :3 Are you going Gunner with your Lion (which is all Lions are really best for), or are you trying to make him melee/shuriken thrower? The MyShop equips are such hacks though. XD So much additional power if you pay for it. Personally, I wouldn't consider MyShop until past level 50, just because you level up so FAST in the beginning that the in-game equips (from NPCs, monster drops, digging and quests) get better than them.

And yeah, it's straightforward at the beginning, but lots of people like to plan out what they want to do at 2nd Job, so they don't waste TMpoints on skills they won't need for their builds.

I made the Lion melee early on because it was easier to make reliable hits...but I MIGHT have spent $30 on MyShop and gone wild -_-

So he has...i think a Shining Gun now? Some L25 equip, and it hits pretty hard. He has a Willow Shield and the upgraded Wooden Sword from the Lvl0 Quest and the Life Preserver, etc. The Phoenix Set is on the Buffalo and lets him hit pretty hard. I'm just tank leveling him, and trying to evenly stat level the Lion. Haven't really gotten much into Skills yet, or Drilling other than to find quest items.

LOL.

Actually, as a tip, level every stat evenly isn't a good way to make your character. Generally, it's better to pump 1 or 2 particular stats with your bonus points, usually to benefit your primary attack damage. Like my Dragon uses magic, so all I do is pump ALL my bonus points into MA. At level 60, I had MA at lvl 100.

For Buffalos they usually go pure AP (4114 build), since Buffalos are natural melee, and in 2nd Job they get more mobbing/berserking skills. For a Buffalo (or any Power-type), it's pointless to pump stats that deal with anything Magic-related. As for Lions, I think most of the Gunners rely on AC, since it affects how accurate their shooting is. LK is beneficial for everyone since Luck affects the crits you do (more LK = more crits), and LK also makes monsters "MISS" their hits on you.

My friend Moff is playing a Buffalo right now, and I'm sure she could help you more. And I don't know much about the Sense-types, except for Foxes.

You pretty much summed it up. :P Though I'm trying to get more AP and DX now so I can hit hard and fast.

And evade Madam Moncher. >.>

XD Evading is HV. Tsssk you should know that playing a Coon, too. But HV you can get from comping equips. DX, too. I wanna see you use Berseker, once you get that skill. *___* I will totally comp a water sword for you, too, so you can do awesome damage with Tidal Slash.

The fact that all of what you just said lost me is a cheerful thing. it means that i have not yet lost my soul to this game.

XD You'll get it eventually!

For the record: HV stands for "Hit Evasion" and it makes the monsters "MISS" you they attack. If you get a "BLOCK" that was an attack that didn't hit you because of Luck (LK), IIRC.

DX = "Dexterity", which is the speed of your melee (whacking) attacks. I have terrible DX as a Mage (it's at 9, I think), so my melee attacks hit maybe once a second? Maybe less. Once in two seconds. DX starts at 10 and goes down to 0, and even negative numbers.

Berserker and Tidal Slash are two of the Buffalo's skills. *___* They are sexy and do lots of damage if you have high AP and low DX.

... XD! You have to spam your skills like I do then. Too bad you're a Buffalo, as Bunnies are the ones that get the 2nd Job skill "Dash" that makes them move fast.

Oh, and didn't we all get MyShop Sprint Charms from Poppuri or something? They're timed, but you move REALLY fast with them.

Hey, cause you're like the first person I think of when I think Trickster you get all my question. And I'm sorry to bother you with all of them. But I wanna know is there any way to transfer an item from one character to another on the same server? Thanks

Just do a 1:1 trade. But if you mean transfer items from 2 different characters you have, you can use the Bank, if they're on the same account. If they're on 2 different Accounts, then you're S.O.L., unless you know how to doublerun the game (instructions on MyTrickster).

Or, if you're really desperate, move both characetrs to some empty corner of a map, away from everyone else. Character 1 drops whatever item(s) on the ground. Then you log-off quickly, log-in on your other account, and Character 2 shows up in the same place and picks up the dropped items.

This is very risky though.
