Another Trickster babble post...

windandwater... because I didn't get to babble alot yesterday, since I was too busy grinding in between bouts of cursing the server. ^___^
First of all, Trickster been a very busy place lately, with lots of events happening at the same time. Quite exciting, but makes me feel sad, since I'm never online LONG enough to take advantage of things. T__T *weeps over no DSL in the house* But I still try my best, and have done pretty well so far, mostly thanks to Aoi-chan letting me rape her wireless. Anyway, Trickster has finally added a new server, Fantasia. We only had one server before, with two channels. With Fantasia server, we can create up to 3 new characters, but the worlds of Fantasia and Jewelia are separate. Which means my awesome new Coon, Makosensei, on Fantasia can't rape the hoard of goodies my awesome Dragon, Makokun, has. T__T Sadness.
Anyway, one good thing about Fantasia is that there's a current event running there. A grinding event and all the EXP and TMexp rates on Fantasia are x2.0 until August 1st. This runs at the same time as the general Grinding Event for all of Trickster: if you level up on character on your Account 30 levels, you get 5k MyShop points. I am TOTALLY going to grind Makosensei up to level 31 for the points, since 1-31 is so much easier than me grinding Makokun from 50-80. In a few hours yesterday, I managed to create Makosensei, get him through the Tutorial, and then partied and got him to level 16 before Fantasia server died on us. It's still very glitchy and buggy, and it's so annoying. x__X;;
The second event running right now that isn't well publicized is the Compounding Event. It's sorta like the Refining Event, but this time you have to buy a special Black Dagger and comp it with MP. If you get over 600, 800, and 900, you get prizes. I totally want to try it, if not for the fact that the item you need to compound with a B STONE from Nora's Drainpipe/Sewer. x___X It's almost impossible to drill there (200m depth), which means basically NO DRILL I CAN USE CAN HIT ANYTHING. To get B Stones (without paying out the ass for them), I'd have to do the Nora Sprays quest to get Nora Drills. The Nora Drills are PERFECT for the Drainpipe, but only have 5 uses. XPPPP I'm considering whether I want to waste one of my special MyShop drills (event prizes yay) there, or just use them in Rose Garden. The Nora Sprays quest gives godly EXP, and there's quite a few things in Nora's Drainpipe I'd like to use later (like B Stones anyway for comping my equips, and Salamandrine Eggs). Will have to think on it.
At any rate, because of the compounding event, compounding rates are UP and prices are cut in HALF. Hahaha... I, of course, took advantage of this to comp alot of my equips that I had handy, since I've been storing compounding items for a good while now. Managed to comp 1000+ HP onto my GMV, so I definitely know what I'll be wearing once I hit lvl 60. Hahahaha! Also comped a healthy amount of HP on one of my Dice Rings, so that makes me happy. I need to see what I can comp my Ginseng Sword and Cherry Katana with, because I can use both of those in the 60s, too, I think. And my Blue Ice Ring needs more MA, too. I will totally be hardcore and not afraid of taking hits with my spiffy new stuff. *____*
And, of course, the Summer Night Event is still going on. I lucked out, since while I was in Long Beach, I got internet access the first night (before things went crazy and hazy and stressful), and managed to finish the event in a few hours. Something like 3, since afterwards I went to dinner. Now I have my nice shiny Festival Equips, which includes... a Corn Sword. Yes. It's a sword shaped like corn. You may insert the appropriate Boku no Sexual Harassment joke [here]. And a majority of the items (including the sword) are compoundable with HP, so I totally need to get enough of those HP items to do it.
The end of the second part of the Summer Event is on the 1st, also. It's just too bad that I don't want to take advantage of the event by training in the Swamp fields. I did that a bit and I can kill Swamp Sharks and Arachnes and they're both lvl 100+. I got in a party, too, so I was earning hella EXP and TMexp. But I'm now almost to level 56 on Makokun, and actually suicided him down last night. 56 is the event level cutoff, and I'd really rather fight lvl 26 monsters during the next event monster quest than fight the level 56 ones. XP Just call me lazy. I'll probably level up during the third part of the Summer Event anyway -- unless I suicide myself down past 50% -- so maybe I'll try and do the monster quests twice. XD Hurray for abusing the EXP rewards.
Did I mention yet that I love Moff and my Pet? ♥ ♥ ♥ We managed to all get on Trickster at the same time and got in a party to level our new Coons. Yes, we all have Coons. XD! They're pretty fun to play with, but maybe that's because I'm more used to playing Magic types and not the Charms. Then Fantasia server barfed and we all moved to Jewelia to our normal characters. ^___^ I took them both to Path of Phantom School and introduced them to THAT lovely, busy, mob-laden map. Monsters EVERYWHERE. I kept firing off Mana Storm and wiping out this one spot around me, but then more monsters would respawn to take their place. XD! Too bad I wasn't looting, or I'd be rolling in stuff. It was very fun to be in a party with them though. Parties are so much better when you actually KNOW the people in the party.
I also took Pet to Azteca, and I loaded her up with shiny new equips, since she didn't have accessories on. D: Bought her an Emerald Ring and the lvl 20 Magic accessories she wanted, just like I bought them for Moff's Buffalo. Hehehehehe... I love being a pimp. *___* ♥
