This is it. I'm leaving the house in a little bit to go to the hotel, so I'm pretty much going to be absent from LJ and online for the rest of the week. Even if the hotel has free wireless, I think I'll be too stressed out to take advantage of it.

As I did last time, this is now A TOTAL SPAM POST.

Angel came awake with a start, staring wide-eyed at the cracked plaster ceiling. For a horribly long moment he remained frozen, unable to distinguish dream from reality -- or even to identify the nightmare that had thrown him awake. Not that it really mattered; one dream or another had plagued his sleep constantly since his return from Hell, to the extent that no sooner would he fall asleep than he was forced awake again. If it weren’t for the fact that vampires required far less sleep than normal humans, Angel would have collapsed months ago.
Maybe he should get up. Once he was up and moving, forcing his mind and body into action, he could usually drive away exhaustion. But the clock said that it was five in the morning -- Cordelia and Wesley would be well asleep, and most creatures of the night would be winding down the night’s entertainment and seeking their own sleep. Which sounded like a wonderful idea to Angel -- if only the dreams would leave him alone!
