The rules are simple:

This post is open for a DRABBLEWAR against any all comers! No holds barred... any fandom, any characters, any situations, any ratings, IF YOU CAN DRABBLE IT YOU CAN DO IT. I, myself, am somewhat limited in the fandoms I can successfully drabble (f-fail), but don't let that stop YOU. I'll do my best to answer everyone!

AND TO MAKE IT MORE FUN: If you see a particularly enticing drabble by someone else, feel free to reply back with a drabble of your own. THAT'S RIGHT. This is like a free-for-all cage match! Tagteam with someone, lonewolf it, whatever! The whole point of this is to have fun. Pr0n is, of course, highly encouraged but not necessary. Drabbles can be any length you so desire.

DRABBLE UNTIL SOMEONE GIVES UP OR CAN'T DRABBLE ANYMORE.

Oh, and in your first comment/drabble, feel free to list things/pairings/fandoms you prefer, or situations that you don't. This is for fun and not to traumatize (unless you like that sort of thing).

Anita Blake, Coming Right Up!

The first thing I thought when I saw him was that Nathaniel was dead for not telling me he had an evil twin.

Well, that and Jean Claude would love to have this one as a playmate. Hell, I might even watch. I used to be uncomfortable with the idea, but two and a half years of triumvirates and ménage à trois with bisexual vampires and shapeshifters will rub off on anyone. Pun only semi-intended. Oh, bite me.

Take that literally, and I'll shoot you.

Anyway - back to the kid. He was practically a carbon copy of Nathaniel - same long brown hair, same violet eyes, same boyish, almost elfin bone structure. For all the physical similarities, though, that's pretty much all they had in common.

The dead giveaway with this one was the eyes - there was a touch of sardonic humor there, and they showed a hardness that probably complimented my own. Jean Claude I said the eyes of a cop - if that's so, this kid had the eyes of a gangster with an edge that hinted at something far more deadly. Not Edward's league, but certainly close. You could tell when he walked into the room and looked at you, he was figuring out ways he could kill you if he needed to and mapping out an escape route.

He wore all black - black ripped jeans and a black tank top with a black jacket that didn't conceal his shoulder holster. He carried himself like he didn't give a rat's ass about that, either. A silver cross - great, no vampire, at least - hung on a long chain around his neck and hit him about mid-chest. Another chain hung across the left side of his jeans, and as he shifted, I noticed a knife holster at his wrist. As he leaned back in his chair opposite my desk, he arched his brow at me, as if he caught me studying him.

"See something you like?"

I like the idea of Duo and Nathaniel being somehow related, or otherwise meeting each other. ^__^ I'm a terrible person. I never read the Anita Blake books (nor will I), but I like reading AB xovers. Bwehehe.

Honestly? The first 3 or 4 are awesome. After that, they start to suck. You're not missing much. ^^;;

You know all the characters I'm referring to, right? Edward, Jean Claude, etc?

Yeah, I've heard about the growing Mary Sue-ness of Anita Blake. XP That's why I haven't bothered reading the books. I actually dislike her charcter.

And yes, I know all the characters. ^^ I'm familiar with the universe and generalities and such, if not specific things. Yay for fanfics.

Posting Mia's Drabble, Since LJ Won't Work For Her

I have a problem. Nothing that I usually couldn't handle on my own, but...well, since I'm fairly new at all of this crazy shit, I figured I should let the experts do what they do best.

Which is why I'm here at Animators, Inc. looking for Anita Blake, whom, if my sources are to be believed (and they usually are) is the best of the best. So of course, I dressed to impress. All black, armed with my favorite gun--a .45mm Glock that has never failed me, and a beauty of a knife that I had gotten for Christmas a few years back, and I felt like I'd at least make some sort of impression.

So when I walked into Ms. Blake's office, it didn't surprise me that she was looking me over. If she hadn't, I would have walked right back out, because no way would someone who had at least 12 confirmed legal vampire kills not give me the once over.

And I think I saw a flash of surprise briefly run through her eyes, but I have no idea where that came from.

Anyway, being my usual charming self I had to try and piss her off. Call me crazy, but its just what I seem to do. Must be a natural talent or something. Ask Heero about that sometime, he can tell you exactly how annoying I can be.

I got myself comfortable in the chair across from her, and gave her an 'aren't we tactless' eyebrow raise. Something I learned from Heero, that.
"See something you like?" I said in my most charming voice. It doesn't seem to work on anyone who knows me but hey, no harm in tryin' right?
