... I DECLARE A DRABBLEWAR.

The rules are simple:

This post is open for a DRABBLEWAR against any all comers! No holds barred... any fandom, any characters, any situations, any ratings, IF YOU CAN DRABBLE IT YOU CAN DO IT. I, myself, am somewhat limited in the fandoms I can successfully drabble (f-fail), but don't let that stop YOU. I'll do my best to answer everyone!

AND TO MAKE IT MORE FUN: If you see a particularly enticing drabble by someone else, feel free to reply back with a drabble of your own. THAT'S RIGHT. This is like a free-for-all cage match! Tagteam with someone, lonewolf it, whatever! The whole point of this is to have fun. Pr0n is, of course, highly encouraged but not necessary. Drabbles can be any length you so desire.

DRABBLE UNTIL SOMEONE GIVES UP OR CAN'T DRABBLE ANYMORE.

Oh, and in your first comment/drabble, feel free to list things/pairings/fandoms you prefer, or situations that you don't. This is for fun and not to traumatize (unless you like that sort of thing).

A sad smile crossed Axel's face as he watched over Sora. Part of him kept encouraging to approach, the other part telling him to stay away.

The longer he stayed to watch, the more his chest ached, but really . . . why? He didn't have a heart, truly. What was it about this boy that made it feel like the truth he knew was actually a lie?

Sometime during his drifting thoughts, the boy he'd been watching had become the one watching him. This brought him on edge.

"Are you going to keep watching all day?" Sora asked in a soft voice. There was not a single concern in his tone, almost as if the boy knew everything would be okay.

Lightly, Axel shook his head at Sora. "I'm a heartless. You don't want me near." It was quite possible that there was a slight hint of bitterness in his voice, but it was hard to tell.

"Don't worry. You won't steal my heart," responded the other boy with a small chuckle. "You can come sit down."

Axel was bitter at first, not wanting to endanger the boy that was patting the spot next to him.

Sora watched Axel curiously, wondering what the red head was going to go. He smiled at Axel. “I won’t bite. I swear.”

“Hmph.” Arms crossed over Axel’s chest.

The key blade master laughed. “Seriously, come sit down.”

Axel’s arms fell to his side and a hand snatched his right arm. “Whoa!” He tumbled backwards, his left foot catching his balance.

In a small voice, Sora whispered. “I know how it feels.”

Axel's eyes met with Sora's for a brief moment and he lost track of his thoughts. "What?" was all he could form.

Instead of a verbal response, all Axel received was a knowing smile. "Now sit with me," came the soft voice.

As much as he wanted, Axel couldn't argue with that look that pierced something--what, though?--deep inside. So, after letting out a defeated sigh, he finally joined the spot next to Sora.

What now? Axel had no idea.

"It's nice, sitting like this," Sora commented in a calm tone. He truly felt content.

Axel just softly nodded his head at that. He wasn't really sure what he felt.

“How what feels?”

“To be a heartless.”

Axel’s mind didn’t click right away. “What?”

“How do you think Roxas came to be?” Sora placed a hand over his heart.

The Organization member just blinked. Looking at Sora, his features changed slowly. Sora’s hair turned blond, the black and white checker finger and wrist bands appeared on his left arm. His eyes stayed blue as Roxas’ clothes appeared over the boy.

“Roxas?”

Axel couldn't believe this transformation going on before his eyes. It was Roxas. His Roxas.

"I remember everything now," came Roxas's soft voice. His head cocked lightly to the side and he smiled a bit. "You know what we should do sometime?"

Axel just shook his head lightly. He hadn't a clue what the other heartless boy would suggest.

"Sea salt ice cream. We should get some."

To this, a small smile made its way over Axel's face.

Axel shut his eyes for a split second, he couldn’t believe that Roxas was right there. He didn’t dare open his eyes, if he did, Roxas would disappear. After all, Sora was supposed to be there, not Roxas.

But Roxas did share half what Sora holds. A somebody and a nobody; fused together as one.

His eyes opened and he saw Roxas still next to him.

Grinning, Axel rubbed Roxas’ hair. “How about that ice cream?”

Roxas did make a face at the hair ruffling, swatting playfully at Axel. "Thought you'd never agree," he chirped.

"How could I say no, huh?" Axel responded, ruffling his hair again as he stood back up. He extended his hand down to help Roxas up, who ended up surprisingly close when he stood. Really, he wanted to the touch to linger, but he chided himself and pried away.

The beginning of their walk was fairly silent, save for the sound of the pebble skipping down the walk in front of them, being kicked between them.

"You're not going to be staying, are you?" Axel asked quietly. He didn't want to ask, for he knew the answer, but the words spilled from his lips, even so.

Roxas sadly shook his head. At first, he'd debating just leaving it at that, but then thought he should elaborate. "Sora is too well loved to rob people of that. While we are the two sides of the same coin . . . it's different, even so. Kairi and Riku couldn't handle him being gone." His words came soft, trying to ease them in.

"Even so," Roxas continued on, "I'll still make sure to spend time with you."

He didn’t want to let him go. His selfish feelings (what feelings, he didn’t know) but he knew that he wanted Roxas to stay.

Their steps echoed in the silence. Coming upon a shop, Axel stopped, grabbed Roxas by the arm. “You’ll promise you’ll come back?”

Roxas nodded. “That’s the secret of Sora’s success, he lives for twenty-five hours a day.” He ran his hand through his hair. “The extra hour to spend time with you.”

A slight frown crossed Axel's face at that comment. "But there aren't twenty-five hours in a day." Was this Roxas's nice way of telling him that nobodies shouldn't have time for one another?

"They also say there is no Neverland in some places. That's not true, now is it?" Roxas's smile to Axel was rather comforting. "Some things that seem true aren't really."

Axel sighed a little and shook his head. He didn't know how to express his thoughts. "Just almost felt like that answer was meant to tell me nobodies shouldn't have that time. I'm not supposed to exist, right?"

At that, Roxas circled to the front of him, giving Axel a sad look. "Don't talk like that. For a long time, I believed because I was a Nobody that I was lacking everything." He cocked his head to the side, trying to find the words. "That doesn't matter. You feel something here, don't you?" With those words, he reached to touch Axel's chest.
