A day well spent

Hahaha. I went out shopping again today. ^____^



So, I really had to go out shopping today and actually buy things because of Mother's Day and because today was aoi's birthday and I still didn't have a present for her. ^^;; It's okay. She knows I love her. :D ♥ And I gave her sparkly scrolling text! THAT IS A DAMN GOOD PRESENT.

Anyway, I went to Tyler again because it is a bigger (and better) mall than the Mo Val one. I had myself a late lunch at Sansei (yay teriyaki chicken) and I think some guy was staring at me while I was eating. o_O* I kept looking up from my food and seeing him looking at me. #.__.# I wasn't dressed that cute or anything, and it made me kinda nervous while I was eating, since I don't like being stared at while I'm chewing. XP

After that, I told myself VERY FIRMLY that I had to buy a Mother's Day present for my mom and a birthday present for Aoi-chan, and ONLY AFTER could I try and shop for myself. >_>;; So the first store I went into was Hot Topic, and I stared at the pants I wanted to buy. BUT I DIDN'T BUY THEM! NO! I WAS STRONG. Plus, I want to look around at all the other stores first.

So I pretty much wandered the entire mall, trying to find something good (and not too expensive to buy). I wibbled over some gift sets at Bath & Body Works and The Body Shop, but I already gave my mom something like that at Christmas. Finally, I wandered into Yankee Candle Company in sheer desperation (after ogling the gift sets in Godiva), and found out that they were having a 25% off sale on Mother's Day gifts. HUZZAH! This clearly was a sign, and I spent WAAAAY too long trying to figure out what gift set (I like buying gift sets, because everything matches) to get my mom. I finally settled on the pink one, which smelled nicer (it comes in this cute wooden basket, with two pink votive candles, one small jarred candle, and a pretty pink glass candle holder).

And on sale! And I even got a $5 off coupon on my next purchase. :3 Score.

Then was much more mall wandering as I looked for the perfect gift for Aoi-chan. This included B. Dalton's (major wibbling!) and the aforementioned Body Shop (sets! sets! I love to buy gift sets!). But then I finally found the PERFECT GIFT. AND I BOUGHT IT. But I'm not saying what it is because Aoi-chan will probably read this and I haven't given her the present yet, and finding out her own present through LJ would be cheap and sucky. But she will love it. Oh yes, she will. And if she doesn't she better well fake it or else she'll be RUDE AND UNGRATEFUL. DO YOU HEAR ME AOI-CHAN. I WANT SQUEALING WITH HAPPINESS BECAUSE THIS TOOK FOREVER TO FIND AND I HAD TO HARASS A SALESGIRL FOR IT.

... *cough*

But I was successful in my shopping endeavours! YAY!

So I went straight back to Hot Topic to stare at those pants again. ^^;;

And a salesperson even came up to me and asked if I needed help, so I said I did and do you have these pants in size 7? They didn't. They only had until size 3. But I took them anyway and tried them on. And I guess the sizes run differently or weird or something, because I fit into those size 3s. And it confused me badly that I had to sit down on the bench in the dressing room and look at the tag on the back of my jeans. They said '9R'. I don't know what the 'R' is for but I was even more confused because I thought my jeans were size 7. The more you know!

And so I bought the pants. Well, they're more like capris. But they're all strappy and cute and I will wear them alot. I also have 30 days to return them if I don't like them, so I need to get other peoples' opinions on if they look okay on me. >_>;; They fit pretty well, and I'm actually afraid a bigger size (like 5) would gape too much in the back. I don't want everyone in the world to know I wear Victoria's Secret underwear.

Wait... everyone knows that already.

Well, it's the principle of the thing.

After all this shopping I went home.

But I dropped by Best Buy first to see if they had those cute pink iPod Shuffles for Mother's Day, since I sorta wanna get one for my mom's birthday, which is the same day as JRock Revolution. Hahaha. They didn't. But they do have Wiis. D: CURSE YOU, BEST BUY.


I'm pretty sure that I'm babbling now, and I'm getting tired.

As to pants - looks cute. But one question, how do you walk in them when it seems that is a strap connecting the two legs?

Hahaha... it's actually two straps, one for each leg. But they're pretty long and loose, so it doesn't interfere with walking. They're also detatchable. ^^

Sora very much agrees with the strappy pants. And the 'R' is for regular, whereas 'P' would be for petite and 'T' for tall, etc. :D I bet you will look cute in them. You know there's another bunny-eared hoodie like the one you liked on ebay that would look cute!

And I saw that bunny ear hoodie. T__T Curse eBay! It keeps getting really expensive near the end!
