It involves tricking Maleficent into thinking he's Riku and Riku is the replica. Since Ri kinda passed out before Mal emerged, so I don't think she knows about him (like she doesn't know about Roxas). It may or may not involve asking Namine to break his memories again so he has more of Riku's memories to fool Mal with.

Well, it's like halfway-breaking. Cracking? He needs enough of Riku's memories, but he can't totaly be Riku, because Riku can't lie worth crap. But Ri is a fabulous and very convincing liar when he needs to be.

Well Mal is out of the loop! Ri is a perfect copy, and once he has Riku's memories (and if Riku plays along) he could prolly totally convince her he's the 'Real Thing'.

Er, that's why she'd take them both. Besides, she likes Riku and wouldn't mind having two. :D ... except for that effing fire-defense thing that I had go off when she's around. (his eyes are still glowing even though I've not been using the icon constantly.) Riku really needs to do sth about that.
