Everyone else is doing it

Christmas was good. ^^
I spent most of last night cooking, since the maternal unit had to work. I baked up two dozen big chocolate chip cookies to get the oven warm and ready, then put in the Cornish game hens to bake, then the potatoes, then the roast. We also had salad, and fresh oranges for the 'dessert'. And champagne. ♥ A pretty simple meal for after Midnight Mass, but since it was just the three of us, but it was delicious and I was stuffed.
See, at out house the 'tradition' is to go to Midnight Mass, then have a dinner after, then open presents. Sort of like Noche Buena. Then Christmas Day is for... well mostly sleeping in late since we stay up really late on Christmas Eve/Morning. Let me tell you, after practically not eating all day, then going through a long service, and then eating a big meal, you really feel like sleeping the whole next day. Doesn't help that my ovaries have acted up. >_>;; But the champagne made me forget my cramps! 8D!
Okay okay, enough of that, here's the real good stuff.
Not very much this year, but I like anything. ♥
-- diamond bracelet from Mom (because I don't have one to wear for dress up occassions and am forever borrowing hers)
-- $200 cold hard cash from Dad (yay! Though I'm probably going to use this to pay off loan bills instead of buy cool stuff... well, maybe some manga >_>;;)
-- pretty musical jewelry box from cousin (yay now my rings won't be everywhere)
-- nice pretty (and warm) PJ set from Ate&Kuya
-- breakfast cooking set from
aoi (I'm cooking breakfast for New Year's! w00t!)
-- Yorkshire --> English translation book from
zalia (TROOOOUSERS!)
-- 15 chocolate balls (*giggles stupidly*) from
aurorn
-- fudge and brownies from
moffit (quite a hit and very delicious!
aoi wants to be your friend now so you can make her some)
