Holiday cheer means related injuries

Mom came home with some holiday decorations since apparently the outside of the house isn't festive enough. She bought two wire&lights deer (the light up and their heads move up and down), and she bought one of the holiday inflatable things for the lawn. It's 6-feet tall, resembles a snowglobe, and inside is a spinning carousel with Santa and snowmen and a penguin riding reindeer. It's cute. And big.

Anyway, of course I had to be the one to set it up and screw stakes intot he ground and such, and I gave myself a nasty paper cut from the cardboard box. >_O;; But the heater is on, my laundry is running, and now I get to have a steaming hot shower to warm up after being in the cold setting that monstrosity up. My hands are numb!

After that will be trying to decide whether I can be arsed to cook or just... eat my way through that box of See's chocolates my mom got as a gift.

Your such a better person than I am. I would have so pawned that dreadful task onto someone else ie my brother.

Not really. There's no one else to pawn the task off onto. I'm the only one.

awe gees that must suck. I have no idea what I'd do without my brother to pawn off the task that invole going outside into the cold. But I bet you made your house look really cool :)
