I went to bed with the world okay, but when I woke up, the Democrats had the House (well, I knew that already), and now they might take the Senate and Rumsfeld is resigning.

I'm so confused. And happy. But mostly confused.

And also, not connected to the above, [livejournal.com profile] zania, I ♥ you madly!!

Like I told [livejournal.com profile] stormcloude, I keep waiting for Nixon to rise up from the grave and yell, "Gotcha!" Or maybe just his head in a jar, a la Futurama.

please to be noting this is not an invitation for the writings of hawt zombie!Nixon smex, hi-larious as it might be.

And we're getting a female Speaker of the House! We're... almost catching up with the other 'civilized' nations that have had women in power for years! d00d the Philippines has had female Presidents and they're they only ones that weren't corrupt.

But I bet he'd give good head. Or maybe not. Does the head in a jar have a throat?

Now all I need to do is read the next Harry Potter and the last book in the Clan of the Cave Bear series, and I can die moderately happy. Ew. Bad mental image.

But the jar is filled with liquidy stuff. That sorta puts a damper on things, unless you go the bukakke route.

And Massachusetts just elected its first-ever black Governor. I'm stunned and happy and the world doesn't make me want to hit things and cry!

I dunno about the Clan series. Her writing is getting steadily more and more incoherent. @_@ The last one was just... bad. Just bad.

XD!

They get longer, too. I'm still waiting for Ayla to invent tampons and the internal combustion engine.

In MA it was either the first black gov. or the first female gov.. A win-win situation.

Still wish that Grace Ross (Green Party) won and not Patrick. Not that I have anything against the man, but one of the local stations had done a piece on all the canidates houses (there had been 4) and she was the only one that wasn't living in a bazillion room hoise, with acres of room and servants/pool boys.

I tried to reply to the right comment and LJ wouldn't let me.

Heh, still, at least it wasn't an old white guy taking the seat. We still have Arnold. >_>;;

And LJ is being a dick.
