A busy but kinda boring day

So, I got up realtively early but normal-ish for a Sunday, showered, and was hustled out of the house by my parents, thus completely destroying the plans I had for myself. Because they're inconsiderate like that. Whatever. They figured that because they had to go someplace and I had to go someplace, we could go together. I hate having to argue pretty much first thing after I wake up.



Anyway, I was hauled about to the place where the Trecenians party is gonna be held because they had to confirm numbers and stuff. But at least I got to do my shopping and didn't have to pay for it. I have myself a nice new shoulderbag/attache bag that's black and thus wull match my suits. And it has a bunch of zippers and pockets and a place to put my cellphone and pens and stuff, so it is obviously the Best Grown-Up Bag Ever. I couldn't find the exact hair thingy I was looking for (I have to wear my hair up for the interview meeting tomorrow, but I can't get it into a bun that will stay, so I was looking for one of those cool little bun holder things with chopsticks), but I got myself a nice hairtie thingy that is just the right shade of purple to match the shirt I'm wearing under my suit. It's cute and not too flashy, and infinitely better than using the elastic hair ties I normally use. Also scored myself some new perfume (Pleasures, yay) because my mom wanted the free gift. Lunch was a very tasty Japanese bento (tempura yay).

I still feel like shopping more though. Today wasn't hardly enough and my dad was along with and he's a cranky male.

Also found the place I'm going tomorrow, so I don't get too lost.

Now I am home and resting a bit. Then I have to iron my shirt and suit to get rid of the wrinkles, charge my cellphone and iPod, and stuff everything I need into my new bag so that I don't forget anything. And also, brush up more on the company and stuff and interview tips and remembering to breathe.

Suit and shirt are ironed! I am now munching on some brownies for a snack before I do my nails. Neutral tones FTW. Hopefully. And I have all my stuff in one place and my alarm is set. Just need to do my nails and wash up before bed.
