Well, for the original iPod Shuffle, there was that little disclaimer at the bottom of the page that the Shuffle was NOT candy, because they pictured it next to gum packages to compare size.

when he's at work he doesn't have time to talk to me about that kind of stuff, so it usually waits until he gets home at night. and they don't get free merchandise all the time. they got the first generation shuffles for free the day they came out and i was super excited but that didn't happen this time around.

and when new products come out they don't know about them until the day they come out so that it's a big surprise. the only thing they know about in advance is when the new OS's come out.
