[KH] WIP -- "Dalliance" (tentative)

windandwaterWell, here's the fic that hit me while waiting in the numerous lines during AX. Mostly written during the wait for the concert though. Kinda weird and experimental, as is the case with many of my fics, but there is porn and upcoming porn, so don't complain. :P
Summary: Sora meets puberty. ♥
There was no time to play anymore. Coming back home to the Destiny Islands had been a welcome relief after nearly two years away, even if the return had been filled with tears and pain and a strange kind of joy. But there was no time to play; explanations had to be given and stories told to relieved and happy parents. It was at the same time familiar and strange, the room he had decorated himself, the bed he had now outgrown.
And there was no time to play, no matter how much Sora wished it. Instead there were days spent with his mother, who insisted on buying a new wardrobe for her growing boy, even if Sora insisted that his clothes from the three fairies would never outgrow. Then there were days spent with Kairi and Riku, pouring over open texts and trying to catch up -- which Sora didn't quite understand, because if you were sick, you could take an ether or a potion, so what did you need an immune system for?
But there was no more time to play and Sora adjusted to the slow island life once again, though Tidus and Wakka still gave him strange looks from time to time ever since Sora had been startled and sliced a blitzball in half with Oblivion. Little incidents like that still happened ocassionally, and all of Sora's friends now knew better than to startle him anymore, because of all the things Sora had learned, fighting and battle was something he couldn't unlearn. And Sora wonders how Riku manages to do it -- how he always stays in control and untouchable -- though Sora thinks it's great fun to touch Riku and tease and taunt his way past Riku's defenses.
And maybe it's good that there's no more time to play because Sora's life is changing (again) and so his body is changing too, but this time Sora's not sleeping through it. The new feelings and new thoughts (and new clothes again because of a growth spurt but he's still shorter than Riku) are confusing and uncomfortable and so Sora goes to the person he knows won't laugh at his questions (because Sora still has a bad grade in biology).
Roxas doesn't know everything but sometimes it seems like he does, and Roxas certainly has time to play. It is easy for Sora to lay back and close his eyes and go to that place where Roxas is waiting for him. More and more often, Sora goes to Roxas, unleashing his fears and questions and desires and everything under the island sun. Roxas holds him close, heart to heart (even if Roxas doesn't have one but that's okay because they can share Sora's), sometimes running his fingers through Sora's unruly hair. He speaks words into Sora's ear, his lips barely brushing the shell, and it tickles and Sora pokes the place where he's ticklish most -- and Roxas is too -- just to hear the blond laugh.
And while there's no time to play, when Roxas can't figure out Sora's problems, he offers up his own precious memories as a guide. Sora doesn't like to poke in Roxas' memories
"They're your memories."
"Stupid, I am you."
"But they're yours."
but Roxas allows it and says Sora needs to know, and Roxas doesn't mind sharing this. Sora understands that and never takes more than what's offered, and secretly he thinks Roxas likes it when Sora watches.
Sora thinks Roxas has great taste, because Axel definitely plays in a different way. So late in the night, Sora strokes himself to Roxas' memories, feeling Axel the way Roxas did, and listening to Roxas whispering in his ear. Sora knows that Axel belongs to Roxas and would never take him away
"Axel... he belongs to you, right?"
"Of course. But you and I are the same."
"But he belongs to you."
but he still thinks they're beautiful together.
