... the codeine is left over from the last time i got sick. it's the only cough medicine in the house. gonna go to the doctor though, because i might've caught my dad's... thing. whatever it is. but i found some different cough medicine in another cabinet so i'm gonna use that instead now. because. codeine messes me up.
... And it doesn't cure anything. It only relieves symptoms. You likely need some actual medicine, certainly some heavy-duty vitamin doses, and... well, possibly some blood tests, because you get very sick pretty often. That's not good, you know.
i get really really sick twice a year. it's because the doctor didn't rip out my tonsils when i was twelve. now everything i get settles in my throat and chest.
And I've heard some interesting things about tonsils... like that leukemia may be more common among kids who've had their tonsils out, which makes doctors reluctant to remove them now.
Besides, is it always tonsilitis that you get? I thought it was more like strep or bronchitis or something?
