Finally getting around to ths

windandwater*yaaaawns* I feel so tired today and I don't know why. I slept alot, and I ate, so I should be feeling fine. I'm even addicted to Dole's Orange Pacific Paradise juice, which counts as fruit (it does!).
Well, I suppose everyone wants to know what happened to me yesterday after I made the decision to loaf about in a nekkid fashion online.
My parents came back after a short period of time, so I guess my mom didn't drag my dad out shopping like I thought. Instead, I was told to dress since we were gonna go out to dinner. Now, going out to dinner in my family usually means we'll be going to Palm Springs. ^^;; My dad gambles alot, and we're SURROUNDED by Indian gaming casinos, so he's a member of the comps clubs. And yes, he gambles enough for free meals and free rooms and stuff like that. So last night we went out to Agua Caliente, which I don't really mind. They have a non-smoking part of the casino, and their buffet has a DISGUSTINGLY HUGE AMOUNT OF DESSERTS. Yay.
After having my fill of the food (which is good enough, I had beef and shrimp and potatoes and veggie rolls and salad and pineapple and... it's a BUFFET and I was HUNGRY), I attacked the desserts area. I settled on ice cream and creme brulee (though I nearly got the tiramisu, and sampled my mom's chocolate flan thing). Yay ice cream. I was disgustingly full, and so it was time to gamble.
Well, first me and mom went to the casino's little gift shop place, because we both saw some cute stuff in it. My dad and mom cashed in their comp winnings, so it's really like getting stuff for free (even if you have to gamble for it). I got this cute white tank top with embroidery, and a light blue tank top/overshirt set with sparkly things. I am very happy. My mom got herself a rather nice dress.
Okay. And NOW is the gambling.

Luck was with me tonight. I prefer to play the cute and cool video slot machines, because they can look really nifty and have bonus levels and all. I REALLY wanted to play the Star Wars video slots game they had, but the bank was full. ;__; So I sat down at another game to stalk Star Wars (yes, I'm a geek). The first game I played was some twisted video slots version of Twister, but I got to see cows and pigs and sheep fly across the screen because of a tornado, so yay. I only chucked $5, but I managed to hit it big with the bonus round and walked away with about $25. So, I'm up $20.
Then someone leaves the Star Wars game, and my mom sits in the chair while I'm cashing in my winnings from the Tornado game. Then I hurry over and chuck another $5 into the Star Wars game. OMG! It was so cool and fun and animated with lights flashing and music and hee!!! I lost the $5 disturbingly fast (mostly because I was playing max bets). So, I put another $20 in. X3 Lucky for me! I started hitting the bonus levels and I even got the Darth Vader/Obi-Wan duel bonus level twice! I finally walked away from the game with somewhere over $30. So, I was still up. Whee!
I wandered off to find my dad in the video poker area. I played a bit there, but I don't like video poker so much, even if I can manage to win enough. It's not all shiny with sounds and lights and stuff. My mom stayed with my dad, and I went to look at the other games. I found another video slots game, Xanadu, which is all Asian-themed and cool. My $5 went in, and I walked away with another $20. BWAHAHAHA. Catching a trend here?
Another stop off to watch my dad lose more money on video poker, then I sat a game called "Angels and Devils," which I have decided that I don't like. I wasn't lucky at all and my $5 went FAST. Made me kind of pissy.
Finally, the last game of the night for me was Men in Black video slots. Bwahahahaha! I've been wanting to play this game, too! I got REALLY lucky on the bonus level, and so my $5 had me walking away with $16 or so. And I thought I was going to lose all my money before I got that lucky bonus. X33!!!
My dad got fed up with the video poker (and lost his last $20), so then we went home.
All in all, I think I ended up with around $50. Not bad for only really risking $5 of my own money. XD! I only play with my winnings.
All this gambling rambling has reminded me...

aoi and mikkeneko, I know you both expressed an interest in going to Vegas. sukino too, but you're too young. I asked my parents, and my dad called in his comp rewards for one of the hotels, so we have a room in Vegas over the Labor Day weekend! There's two beds, and my mom says that SHE has comp rewards for a free room, too, maybe. So, my parents could have one room and we could have the other (and if not, two beds, and my dad stays out gambling all hours in Vegas).
I will, of course, be going. If you wanna come, too, tell me! You pretty much just need to bring your own spending/food money. Though, there was some talk about seeing a show. Dunno yet. I might be up to see Cirque du Soleil's naughty nighttime show. X3
