You know, I hated Sasori before this. I hated him when I thought he was some weird puppet-part freak. I hated his babbling about art. I hated that he pwned Kankurou and helped kill capture Gaara. I hate him even more now, with a big side dish of: OMGWTF.

d00d. Just... d00d. What the HELL is Sasori smoking that he helped take out THREE of the Kazekages, and turned ONE of them into a puppet? And... OMG. His PARENTS. He fucking TURNED. HIS. PARENTS. INTO. PUPPETS. Now I'm getting creepy vibes from that one flashback/memory panel where chibi!Sasori is in bed sleeping with his parents on either side of him. I mean... OMG. What if those were his PUPPET parents, and not the living ones? *CHILLS*

Also, Chiyo-baa-sama rocks hardcore. I want to see her totally kill stomp all over her "dear" grandson's ass. And I want to see Sakura pwn Sasori, too. Like, on her own. She just needs to get close enough to punch him and turn his head into paste. Though, even though Sakura is a chuunin, I don't know if she's killed yet. She's training to be a medical-nin, afterall.

::shudder:: Naruto villains are creepy liek whoa. In retrospect, Haku seems awfully normal compared to crazy psycho tentacle Gaara, and elongated-neck Orochimaru and the "we could be naked under these cloaks and you'd never know" Akatsuki. mmm. zombie finger pie with jlhgiuy6t5&^%YtfbraaaaaiIIIns

I don't think Sakura can take on Sasori by herself, superstrong chuunin or no. He's one of the Akatsuki, after all. I'm just proud of her for kicking as much ass as she is. I'd still love it if she did, though. Sakuraaaaaaaaaa!

d00d, Haku was a freakin' BOY SCOUT compared to the new villains. Zabuza, too. I think Akatsuki must have some sort of freak clause to admit new members.

1) Must slaughter family
2) Must have freakish hobby and/or sexual perversion
3) Must like purple nail polish

And no, I don't think Sakura can take Sasori by herself. She's chuunin, he's an S-ranked missing nin. Unless Tsunade taught her something really super cool, she's toast. Though, with Chiyo-baa-sama's help, they might pull through a win.

People in Naruto do occasionally win fights they shouldn't be able to (a lot of Naruto's earlier fights, or his fight with Kabuto), but if there isn't a good explanation for it (e.g. one hell of a surprise jutsu), it kinda ruins the suspension of disbelief. But Chiyo is a very wise, powerful ninja, so she and Sakura might be able to do it together. If either of them dies, particularly Sakura, I will cry many emo tears of angst. Sakura will probably never die, though. I think she's the most death-proof character in the manga. She's too important to die before the end, and not important enough to get the spotlight death at the end.

Personally, I think Itachi would look stunning with red nail polish. Long, red, pointy nails. With little gems on.

Bleh, I thought Naruto's win over Kabuto was believable. After all, Kabuto DID fight Shizune AND Tsunade before he fought Naruto. And Kabuto was also WAAAAY too dismissive of Naruto's abilities; he got cocky and Naruto was able to pwn him with the rasengan. Also, it's not like Kabuto DIED. If Naruto had killed Kabuto at that time, I wouldn't have believed it. Pwnage, I believe. So waiting to see Naruto fight Kabuto again. I don't know who I want to fight Kabuto, Naruto or Kakashi.

And I think it's going to be Chiyo-baa-sama who helps pull off the win over Sasori. Though, I'm pretty sure she'll end up dead to do it, or die in the process of sealing Shukaku in Gaara again. Sakura will get beat up, but live. She's SAKURA. She's not gonna die yet because there has to be some sort of Team 7 reunion fight, like with the Sannin. And Sakura will summon slugs.

And the red might be a bit much for Itachi. Might look bad with his eyes and coat.

That's kinda what I meant. In a straight fight, Naruto would be no match for Kabuto. He won because Kabuto was tired and injured and overconfident, and Naruto nearly died in the process, which makes it believable.
