Are grocery stores open on July 4th?

I would think they would be, since people always need to buy last minute things for picnics or BBQs and such. But, it IS a holiday. *grumbles* They close the post office and banks on July 4th.

I'm supposed to go grocery shopping today. But I woke up late, and I just got out of the shower, and today is my last day on antibiotics, and I just... don't feel like going out. ;__; I feel sorta tired and laggy, even though I slept alot. Maybe I should eat more? I dunno. I just don't feel like going out. Actually, I want to go lay down again. =___=;;

But... I need milk. And fresh fruit. And the stuff to put in the toilet to make the water blue. And things like that. I'm not going to starve to death, but I'd like fresh things.

*whines*

I guess I can do the shopping on Tuesday, if I have to. Or go out tonight.

I can't answer for California but in Texas even the department stores and malls are open tomorrow. Of course they're closing at 6 pm, but they're still open. I would imagine it will be similar there.

I'd think they would be open, yeah - though you may want to get out early, just in case. *nods*

hmm, if i remember correctly i think they will be (especially Cala and Safeway) but they will be closing early. Cala is usually open 24hrs but on holidays (like Thanksgiving and such) they close early and open early the next day.
