[Naruto] Fic Recs Post

windandwaterWell, it seems like everyone has been badgering me to do this, so I have caved. I'll be working on this through the weekend, so don't expect this to be all. XD I read WAY too many fics.
A quick warning: I read a lot of different things. There's a lot of smut too, almost exclusively of the yaoi variety. Naruto is my favorite character, and as my favorite character I like it when he gets shagged. Alot. A whole lot.
There will also be things ranging from school AUs, Rokudaime!Naruto, crossdressing, mpreg, hurt/comfort, vampires, and my personal favorite: Naruto Goes Into Heat (TM) and Everyone Loves Naruto (TM). Everything will be labeled appropriately, though I think I'm a bit too lazy to organize everything into pairing categories. Maybe once I'm done. :P
What I like to read may not be what you like to read. Especially since I will give up a bit on the writing side for an interesting (to me) plot or premise.

Notes: I LOVE THIS FIC. It's a schoolfic AU, but I love it for the way it manages to parallel the events in the series. There's good writing here, and really HAWT SMUT. Also a bonus is that Naruto and Sasuke don't go straight into Tab A/Slot B. A lot of attention is paid to blowjobs, handjobs, and shameless making out, which I think is sometimes hotter than full on sex. Just completed, too!

Sasuke has to earn back everyone's trust, and I like seeing him practically stalk Naruto. And Neji is wonderful in this fic, too! It's a WIP, but will eventually have 26 chapters.

Notes: It's been years since Orochimaru was last seen but when he reemerges Leaf and Sand must ally together to defeat a greater threat. This is a VERY interesting fic that NEEDS UPDATES DAMMIT. The Rookie Nine are all grown up in this fic, with most of them Jounin rank. I love the interplay between the characters, especially the tension that exists between Shikamaru and Sasuke, and Naruto's efforts to stay on good terms with everyone.

Things are not always as they appear, people are not always who they seem to be; where-ever you are, whatever you do, whoever you talk to - remember to always look Underneath the Underneath. *purrs* There's an interesting plot twist that I don't want to ruin for everyone, but let's just say that Naruto is having some problems with a Seal and they're affecting him in more ways than you might think.

Notes: 5 years later, Konoha is gone. How do Sasuke, Naruto and Gaara - three power-houses - survive with each other when precariously on edge? Oh... oh... this fic is just BEAUTIFUL. I love it to bits. It's written... in a very evocative way, especially in later chapters. You can SEE Naruto and Sasuke and Gaara trying to pick up the pieces of their lives and the ties between the three of them are just... mmmm. I want more.

Notes: Ten years ago Naruto died in the fight against Orochimaru. At least...that's what everyone was told. This is another one of those "Naruto leaves and comes back changed" fics, though this is a bit darker than the others. Here, Naruto is losing his battle against Kyuubi and is trying to Do The Right Thing by staying away from everyone and everything he loves. Naruto has definitely grown up in this fic, and is quite worthy to be called Rokudaime... even if no one else believes it.

Notes: Is Sasuke willing to sacrifice everything to kill Itachi? Leave everything he holds dear to save everyone from himself or is there a method, a smaller sacrifice in his eyes, other than walking Itachi’s well-laid path before him? This is a completely and totally gratuitous vamp!Sasuke fic. :3 There's some OOC issues that I turn a blind eye to since SASUKE IS A FREAKIN' VAMPIRE. *giggles* Some good smut, too, but you have to get to the end of the fic first. COMPLETE.
This pair also has a number of other fics up, from the PWPS, to "Reflections" (where Naruto and Kyuubi are merging) to "Spartan Ninjas" (a school AU with lots of smut that seems to be growing plot twists). They are also good.

Stalker!Itachi manages to be properly menacing while subtly seductive. Still a WIP, but worth the wait. I like the image of Naruto feeding Itachi ramen.

The only one who knows his true self and still loves him is Sasuke, the son of chief of police. Ahahahahaha... this is complete doujinshi fodder. By which I mean that Shiro-kun reads a lot of doujinshi and so Sasuke is the seme and Naruto is the uke, if Naruto crossdressing doesn't tip you off to that fact. It's a total school AU, that I read because Sasuke manages to be himself, yet also be a complete and utter pervert. The uncensored version is highly recommended. Shiro-kun's first language is NOT English, but that doesn't distract from the pervosity.

Notes: I love this universe of fics by cneko. There's other sidestories and oneshots as well. Gaara is so wonderfully psychotic. I LOVE cneko's "psycho but snarky" Gaara, and Naruto makes the best daddy. :3 Also, their daughter Kizuko is so very cute. Hahahah... call it mpreg if you want. There's actually an explanation for Kizuko. COMPLETE.
