Though, if I DID get the Mac-mini, I'd have to buy, you know, a screen and keyboard and mouse and stuffs. I think I'll remain Sony's bitch.

Are the non-Mac peripherals incompatible with Mac? It's not uncommon for people in my family to save money by recycling old keyboards and moniters with new computers (granted, you can't do that with a laptop or an iMac). Not that I wouldn't sell my soul for a a chance to trade in my sad old 600 MHz G3 iBook with a weeny 12'' screen for a 1.25 or 1.42 GHz G4 with a 40-to-80 GB hard drive, maybe a 17'' LCD moniter and say, a drive that can actually fucking burn DVDs.
