Okay... I have been awake for a bit now and had some nice hot food. Not gonna sleep for awhile yet, but I find myself to be terribly bored. SO!

First... oh... say, TEN PEOPLE who respond get a drabble. That I will actually write RIGHT NOW. OMG! Choose characters or setting or even just give me a prompt to go wild with. Whatever. *^^* Though, please limit it to the anime/shows/movies that I know. If I can't write what you want, I'll ask you to give me a different prompt thinger.

*waits to see how long it takes to get hit with replies*

EDIT... huh, only 2 actual requests so far? Maybe everyone is asleep or something.
RE-EDIT... that's 3. And all in different fandoms! I feel so... productive!
EDIT STRIKES BACK... and that's 4. And apparently, I'm evil.
RETURN OF THE EDIT ... 5! Halfway there!
EDIT IN-LAW... 6 requests, though now I must gnaw on Asuka for giving me a hard one!
RED HEADED STEPCHILD OF AN EDIT... 7 requests, though I'm losing steam. ^^; Might have to finish up tomorrow.
I SEE EDITS... Well, numbers 8 and 9 have been requested, though I just woke up. ^^
BRIDE OF THE SON OF THE EDIT... Number 10! I WILL write the last of the drabbles before I go to sleep. :3

Something with Tsuzuki and Hisoka?

Was curious if you have any knowledge of SFSU, as I'm thinking about transfering there. Apologies if that's too personal :)

San Francisco State University? One of my cousins (maybe more than one) graduated from there. I've heard that it's a very good school. It's pretty liberal (as most Bay Area schools tend to be), but not as liberal as, say, Berkeley. X3

It depends on the program you want to go into, really.

And I got hit with a bunny. Am writing your drabble now. ^^

Tsuzuki cries in his sleep sometimes. Hisoka knows that the older shinigami isn't aware of it, and it doesn't happen all that often. It's not like Tsuzuki doesn't sleep like the dead most of the time, sprawled out and taking up all the space, or he babbles randomly while he dreams -- usually about sweets. But then there are those nights when Tsuzuki lays perfectly still in bed, and only the moonlight glitters on the twin trails over his cheeks.

And it is then that Hisoka wraps his arms around his partner -- much in the same way Tsuzuki has held him in the past -- and whispers in his ear: "It's alright. I'm here now."

And then Tsuzuki stops crying, and babbles about sweet things again.

'Niisan pushes himself too hard,' Al thinks to himself as he looks out the train's window and at the scenery zipping past. It's nothing he hasn't seen so many times already on these trips; pasture, cows, small towns, more pasture and cows. And so, it isn't any wonder that his thought drift; actually, sometimes Al thinks that his thoughts are the only thing that really belong to him anymore, even this armor body is borrowed.

But his brother... Al looks down at where Ed lays tucked against the train seat, eyes closed in sleep. His brother s the one who really suffers. Al can't feel pain or tire or hunger, but Edward can. And Al knows that Ed pushes himself far too hard, if the shadows under his eyes are any indication.

The train lurches a bit as it crests the top of a hill and Ed's body slumps from where he propped himself up. Immediately, Al is reaching out, gently steadying his brother into a more stable and comfortable position -- laid out over the bench, head pillowed against his coat on Alphonse's thigh. Al reaches down, leather gloved hand quietly petting and soothing away the frown on Ed's face from being jostled.

"... are we there?"

"No, niisan. Just go to sleep, I'll wake you up when we get to Central."

Ed curls up again, and Al continues to stroke his brother's hair, his gaze drifting out the window again with his thoughts.

*ish pounced and gnaws back*

Faramir, for all his youth and inexperience, has already decided that the libraries of Minas Tirith are the best places to become lost in. They are expansive and dimly-lit, winding corridors full of rows and rows of old scrolls and books and papers. The secrets of Gondor and Middle Earth are hidden in every nook and cranny of the massive libraries.

The libraries, too, are a nice place to get lost in with someone else. Especially, Faramir thinks, if it is his older brother. It is wet and raining outside and thus Boromir has been excused from his practices today. Faramir took it upon himself to steal his brother away after breakfast, leading him down the dusty trails and shadowed eaves to find privacy and solice.

And so, Faramir squirms quietly, trying not to make a sound as Boromir kisses his neck and works one calloused hand under Faramir's linen tunic. Faramir buries his hands in his brother's golden hair; it's growing out longer and Faramir likes the feel of it in his hands.

"Aah... brother...!" he cries out softly, rocking in Boromir's lap. His older brother's hands are wicked, but Faramir doesn't think he should complain.

"Ssshhh, brother," Boromir whispers, the hint of a new beard across his jaw shadowed by the candlelight. "You're not supposed to talk in the library."

"I don't get it."

Trowa looked away from the screen, handful of popcorn pauses halfway from the bowl to his mouth. "Don't get what?"

"This... this... monstrosity!" Wufei grumbles, one finger stabbed accusingly towards the vidscreen. "It makes no sense at all, the settings and time period don't match up, and I see no reason why the whole cast should start singing at every opportunity!"

The green-eyed young man thoughtfully munched on his handful of popcorn, looking back and forth between his friend and the screen again.

"I don't really think it's supposed to make sense," he finally replied. "I think it's just supposed to be entertaining somehow."

Wufei crossed his arms across his chest irritably, but couldn't help but watch in wonder as the scene of the movie exploded into singing and dancing and colorful silks and even elephants.

"Pass me the popcorn," he asked grudgingly, vaguely wondering if the princess would be reunited with the prince, or if the... the fellow with horrible facial hair and striped pants would woo her away.

Trowa held out the bowl silently, mesmerized by the choreographed dance sequence and the glittering jewelry. A few minutes later, Heero stuck his head in through the living room door, eyeing the vidscreen with a raised brow.

"Bollywood again?"

There were some mornings when Duo just didn't want to wake up.

This was one of them.

It didn't matter if the alarm clock radio was playing some happy peppy music between the morning talk, that the neighbor's dog was barking up a storm, that those punk kids who lived down the block were screaming like banshees as they ran around the neighborhood, or even that there was road work going on and the sound of jackhammers threatened to drown out everything else. No, what mattered was that Duo had the quilts pulled up over his head and was warm and toasty and cuddled up against the best bedmate in the Earthsphere.

Under his ear, Duo could hear Heero's heart beat a bit faster and his breathing change. Then the Japanese man wiggled, settled, then jostled, and Duo knew from the sudden chilly draft that Heero's arm was flailing for the snooze button. He wrapped his arm tighter around Heero's waist and mumbled nonsensically.

"... you should've remembered to turn off the alarm," Heero grumbled. "It's Saturday."

The radio finally turned off (but the barking and jackhammers did not) and Heero's chilly arm returned under the covers and wrapped around Duo, who yelped and squirmed.

"Sadist!" Duo exclaimed, his disheveled head peaking out from under the quilts. Heero just gave Duo one of his little half smiles.

"You're the one who taught me the benefits of sleeping in on the weekend," Heero replied, tucking Duo more comfortably against his side.

Duo didn't bother to reply, just snuggling closer and shutting his eyes. Heero chuckled under his ear, then stopped when Duo poked him. Heero's breath evened out again and Duo smiled to himself.

It was a good morning.

"I can't believe that you actually did it."

Heero smirked as he unbuckled his shiny patent leather shoes -- he'd have to ask for a foot rub eventually -- and kicked them off. Duo was sitting on the sofa, his posture defeated and his expression still frozen in the shocked disbelief they had walked out of the apartment with three hours ago. Not allowing any other expression cross his face, Heero untied his bonnet and tossed it onto the coffee table.

"Why wouldn't I? You asked me -- or rather, dared me to. And the kids seemed to enjoy it." Heero tossed the short red cape he was wearing over the arm chair and risked another look at Duo.

The American shook his head, the black furry ears perched on his head bobbing with every movement. "Sure, it was for the kids, but... but, shit, Heero. Where'd you find that thing anyway?! I didn't think you'd have time to actually find a costume--"

"Are you saying that you delibrately set me up for an embarassing situation with little chance of achieving your set goal, just so that you could top for the week?"

Duo sputtered and leapt from the sofa, ears and somewhat squashed fluffy tail swinging behind him as he paced. He waved his furry gloved hands around. "I so did not! I just... you're not answering the question of where you got that damn costume on such short notice!"

Heero allowed Duo to sidestep his accusation, and flicked an imaginary speck of lint from his full skirt. "I called Relena."

"R-relena?!"

Heero thought that the shade of red his lover was turning was very fetching. Then he nodded. "She said she had one for when she and Dorothy--"

"NO! Stop right there and don't finish that sentance! I don't WANNA know why Relena has a Red Riding Hood costume. Especially not if it has to do with Dorothy."

As Duo continued to rant and rave, Heero took to opportunity to stalk up to is lover. Before Duo could react, Heero had his hand fisted in the front of Duo's furry shirt and he pushed the surprised man back down onto the sofa, whose springs squeaked nearly as loud as the American.

"Holy shit, you're not gonna hit me, are you?" Duo exclaimed. "It was for the kids! You saw how happy they were to see Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf! And you didn't really have to dress up! I didn't think you woul-- mmmph!"

It was surprisingly easy to shut Duo up, especially if it was because Heero was kissing the hell out of him. When they broke off, Heero was straddling Duo's lap, one hand clutching Duo's braid and the other under his lover's shirt. Duo had his hands under Heero's ruffled skirt, teasing the edges of Heero's bloomers with the paw-like gloves.

"I won the bet to top for the week, didn't I?" Heero said, unable to keep the smirk out of his voice.

"Y-yeah..." Duo responded, sounding dazed.

"And if I recall correctly..." Heero started, his voice raw with lust. "... the Big Bad Wolf tried to eat Red Riding Hood."

Duo blinked, the passionate light in his eyes rising. "Yeah, he sure did."

"Well, then you can start with that, because this Red Riding Hood is going to be riding YOU."

They don't speak.

They don't speak about Roxane. They certainly don't speak about Bagoas. They speak of war and politics and of the ongoing campaign against the barbarians. But the silent reproach is in Hephaistion's blue eyes every time he looks at Alexander. As for Alexander, his eyes are stormy and full of dreams as always, but lately when he looks at Hephaistion his eyes become more turbulent with fear and hurt and that is something that Hephaistion does not like to see.

And so, when Alexander beckons to him, Hephaistion goes, still silently. And only when they lie together in Alexander's tent, decorated with spoils of war and on a pallet covered with furs, does Hephaistion break his silence to moan words of love and loyalty. Alexander holds tight to him throughout the night, promising again that they will be together forever, that Hephaistion's last breath shall be his own and he would only live for vengeance. Hephaistion repeats the words back, because he has always done so, and because he is Alexander, too.

And it is he, Hephaistion, that comforts Alexander's pains. He that smooths his brow and presses fevered kisses to his lips. It is between his thighs that Alexander finds his peace.

And that is something that no one -- not Roxane and not Bagoas -- can ever take away.
