*throttles the mail*
Oct. 16th, 2004 04:57 pmOkay, so here I am, getting all excited because I got a letter in the mail. A letter which, by the way, has "Pay to the order of" and my name in the address window. And I'm happy and bouncing because OBVIOUSLY, this is my tuition refund check from the school. And now I can deposit the check and pay my rent and go out shopping and finally buy some new sneakers. And chinese food. And... manga and DVDs.
So I rip open the envelope, and then STARE at the check. The check, which has the amount of a little UNDER $200 on it. I FREAK OUT because, I'm supposed to be getting MORE THAN THAT from my goddamned loans unless I totally fucked up when figuring out my tuition.
Then I check again and see the little stamp that says: 'This is not a check.' And realize it's some stupid loan consolidation letter from some stupid company.
*screams*
... this makes me SO cranky.
