windandwaterSo, I went to financial aid (again) today after classes. See, I checked online on the websites but couldn't make heads or tails of what I was reading. I was gonna be on campus anyway, so it's not like I had to go out of my way to check in person. I got to the office and my advisor wasn't there, so I occupied myself at the computers, waiting for her to come back from lunch. I didn't notice her come back, and I didn't want to stay much longer, so just as I was deciding to just say 'fuck it' and go home, the guy from behind the desk tells me my advisor is back and I can see her.
Of course, I go in. And DAMN, was I lucky that I did. While my loans were approved, they weren't disbursed to the school yet because the lender can be slow about stuff like that. If I hadn't come in when I did, the registrar would've DE-REGISTERED ME from my classes because my tuition wasn't paid off. Luckily, my advisor shot off an email to the Registrar and told them not to do that.
*whew!* So the funds will be dispersed about Monday or so, and then they'll mail off my refund check. Then I can pay my rent, and now I don't have to worry about going shopping this weekend for my sneakers. And socks. And maybe panties if Victoria's Secret is having a sale. ^^;; And some new clothes.
But I have to remember to wash my car tomorrow or something. I found the hose.
