Is anyone out there familiar with Vampire: The Masquerade?

Because I had an insane idea about trying to figure out which of the Clans the GBoys (and girls) would fit into. I'm pretty sure Relena would end up a Ventrue, though I really fancy the image of Zechs being Toreador. XD And Duo... he'd probably end up Brujah, while Trowa would be Gangrel.

That's a nice page that has descriptions of the various Clans (Camarilla and Sabbat and Independent) and I'm having fun trying to figure this out. Heero and Wufei are giving me fits. And so is Treize...

Heero - Gangrel, hands down.
Duo - Brujah, maybe... but I'm thinking Malkie. Or Ravnos...
Trowa - Well, let me quote from the book to explain this one -- "... known for levelheadedness and calm in the face of adversity... reputations as information brokes and harvesters of secrets..." So excepting the hideous appearance of the clan, I'm tempted to toss out the possibility of Nosferatu here.
Quatre - Ventrue or Torreador. Like, totally.
Wufei - This is a tough one... I'm tempted to lean toward the Giovanni, but not quite...
Relena - kine. Or Caitiff.
Une - Malkie.
Zechs - Defies description.

Wow... I forgot you knew more about this than I do.

Heero -- Gangrel? Really? I didn't think Heero would be Gangrel-y. I thought Trowa would be more the loner, in tune with his inner animal type.

Duo -- *whines* I don't like the Brujah! I'd rather have Duo be Ravnos... at least then he'd be the cool trickster Gypsy type.

Trowa -- Huh... and now we know why he has that bang.

Quatre -- I certainly see him as a Ventrue. He's a little too level-headed to be a Toreador.

Wufei -- ... aren't the Giovanni the inbred ones? They're all related? Or am I mixing things up?

Relena -- BWAHAHHAHAHAHAAH! You'd make her Caitiff? REALLY?! I was thinking more Toreador because of the whole obsessiveness thing.

Une -- Right-o.

Gangrels aren't necessarily loners; remember that they are affiliated with the Camarilla. They socialize less with other clans, and of course there's that Gangerl/Brujah blood feud. And the Gangrel/Tremere blood feud. And... okay, yeah. The Ventrue lead the Camarilla; the Gangrel run security.

And the more I think about it, the more I like Ravnos for Duo... except that in V:tM, Ravnos awoke from torpor and the clan is now extinct. Supposedly.

Yeah, and the whole multi-gagillion dollar company ownership just happens to scream "Ventrue."

Er... yup. Pretty much. Which is why I'm balking at that one. Wu's hard to define. XD

Y'know, I can't imagine that anyone but a Toreador would have that awful pink car. But of course, with Caitiff, no rules... XP

Who says I don't? I just can't think of a clan for him yet... Ditto Treize. Though the scientist guys would have to be Tremere. ^_~

White Wolf came out with a separate gaming book for vampires of the Far East, called "Kindred of the East" I believe, which are different from the American vampire clans. As far as I can remember, because it's been about a year since I played the Japanese vampire character of mine, they didn't necessarily feed on blood as much as they did on chi. Heero and Wufei, to me, would fit in better with those clans, whose names escape me at the moment, but I don't think they were separated into distinct clans as Masquerade was. I do remember that the Eastern vampires were a different species than the Western ones.

Ah, thanks! I know about the Kindred of the East, but I never really did manage to learn more about them. I'm certainly more familiar with the Camarilla/Sabbat clans.

I'm just trying to see where the boys would fit, or IF they would fit, in the Clans that are established. It's one of those crazy late at night ideas.

No no, you could be Tremere antitribu (literally "anti-clan") which means that you've turned your back on the Camarilla and the Tremere Clan to join the Sabbat.

... of course, then your Elders would have you killed, because the Tremere don't allow any desertion in their ranks. Turning your back on the Tremere is an immediate death sentence.

I'm re-thinking a couple of them now...Cathy would make a better Ravnos than a Setite, and Wufei's kinda hard to peg. I keep wanting to make him a Brujah now, but he does have that Ventrue snobishness about him, too...*ponders*
