I can't get into WHR at ALL. And I haven't seen Utena, but I've been meaning to. I think I have... DNAngel, Full Moon o Sagashite, and a bunch of other shoujo things. :3
You need to be stubborn as hell to get through WHR (or so I've experienced thusfar). Kind of like, "I'm not going to let this crappy series make me look like a sissy, so I will finish it."
Utena's really, really good. I'm just lazy and haven't gotten through watching all the episodes yet since the movie is a very brief blanket-covering of the series. Be prepared for a mind-fuck, though. *grins*
I have a few episodes of FMA left to go through, a couple eps of Gundam Seed, and now RahXephon, once that finishes downloading. Plus the whole gaggle of crap that's in my CD carrier.
This summer has has a LOT of anime. My sister and I watched Saiyuki Reload, RahXephon, Card Captor Sakura, Utena, Planetes, Full Metal Alchemist, and Fruits Basket, and we intended (though failed) to see Spiral, Twin Spica, and Maria-sama ga Miteru. She's watching Noir, but I'm not terribly interested.
I feel like I'm leaving something out...
Oh yes. We also watched Perfect Blue and Angel Sanctuary, but those were one-shots, not series.
Oh, I'm spoiled as hell for Utena, which is probably why I'm taking my time with going to watch it. I think I have some Gundam SEED, too... and maybe Full Metal Panic. But aoi swears by RahXephon and I need to get to watching that, too.
I also have Voices of a Distant Star to watch, and the back DVDs of Saiyuki that I've been forgetting to watch.
DNAngel! Aaaiiieee! Haven't seen any nes anime for a while? I haven't seen anything new since ACEN, Nescaflowne shouldn't count. >_>
But a friend burned all of DNAngel for me so I can get it at school. I fear I won't have time to watch all of it at once. ;_; Nor the stamina. Even though I deathly want/need/have to.
Mikke was just saying that she was hoping you'd give in. I do know how you feel. I watched the first episode yesterday, and I'm already hooked, too. ^____^
