windandwaterIt's been very hot and a little article I just read reminded me that it's the dog days of summer. Why dog days? Because the Dog Star, Sirius, rises with the sun and is said to add to the heat.

Also the beginning of the second chapter of Letters is rattling around my head and won't leave me alone. It's rather important in setting up the exposition and such, and says it would like to be a cliffhanger.
