BLARHARHARHARHAR!!!
Jun. 17th, 2004 08:58 pmI bought my 20 hours of internet time this morning after breakfast. X3 So now I'm connected through Solo in my hotel room! YAY! Of course, now I'm downloading a lot of software updates, especially for my virus protection and such. ^^;
12 Girls Band was in the paper today, and Zhu said she wanted to go see them, too. I'm going to ask at the Front Desk how to get tickets, because http://www.thaiticketmaster.com is, unfortunately, all in Thai. XP They're playing at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center and there's 5000 tickets. *prays to get one*
*looks out the window* It's very overcast and icky looking outside. Maybe I should stay in. I don't want to get caught in a downpour. Again. Maybe if it rains soon and clears up by the afternoon, I can go out later.
Oh... and just for
windsorblue...
So, while we were at the IP/IT Court and enjoying our delicious pastry things, I was listening to one of my male classmates (dunno his name right now), telling us a Very Amusing Story.
He's been getting a lot of massages here in Thailand, mostly on Khaosan Road, because it's cheap and you can get massages everywhere. He has back problems and such. Hell, I'm going to get massages too, so we were all talking about the best (cheapest) places to go. Anyway, he was telling us about how he paid 400 baht for a massage, but it was the worst massage ever. We asked why.
It turns out that she wasn't massaging him very well, no pressure at all. And then, not five minutes into the thing, the lady makes a... lewd hand motion... and says "100o baht!" Classmate was, of course, boggled -- he's been getting massages and not being propositioned like that. So he says "no, just massage." Then, the lady seemed to get very angry and was massaging on an angry way, then another five minutes later, makes the same motion and says: "500 baht!"
At this point, I said that it was amazing that you could bargain for EVERYTHING here in Thailand. He didn't take up the lady's offer, but we started joking around that he should've haggled more. XD XD XD
"Special price for you!"
And that is the Massage Parlor Incident.
*goes to wallow on the internet and FINALLY open up all those notworksafe pictures*
EDIT...
d00d, I rock. It's JUST started to rain heavily. *cuddles under a blanket on the bed*
