No more classes for me! At least for the rest of the week. ^^

It seems that there's a group going north to Chaing Mai this weekend, and a bigger (nicer) group of 12 or so going south to either Phuket or Samui. I am not part of either of these groups.

>_>

... but it's okay, because I have a bunch of routine things to do. I need to get my laundry done (there's a place near the hotel), because the hotel laundry service is expensive and I'm running out of nice things to wear to class. Damn Khun Thaithow for being such a proper and conservative nazi. *shakes fist at her* I'm always afraid she'll yell at me for being inappropriately dressed.

Also... it's raining. *^_^* Thank you for praying with me, everyone! I've been reading in the paper that the rain will probably continue through the weekend. I don't know how it will affect the north and south, but still!

Anyway, I think I'll do the big weekend market this weekend with Amy Zhu (the asian Amy), and perhaps go to Baglamphu/Khaosan Road. I also want to go back to the Teak Mansion, since I have an admission ticket and never got to use it.

... or I can go to the day spa in Phloen Chit Center. *rubs hands gleefully* I was reading a flyer about their services and it sounds so nice! Except the package I want costs 4000 baht ($100). *winces*

Well, yesterday was nice and I slept in until 9am, since there was no classes for me all day. :3 While having breakfast, Erin (who is a bitchy girl but gradually getting better), told me that someone was going to have a tailor come up to her room for fittings and such. I had already planned on doing that, so decided to go to her room instead to see.

WOW.

Very inexpensive and the tailor had a WIDE range of materials and things. I only got one suit done (a dress with a suit coat), just to see what quality of work the lady does. But she's coming back on Wednesday, to make up shirts/blouses and things. If her work is good, maybe I'll order more suits. *^^* I just need to find fashion magazines of something, to show her the style I like. Either that, or I can go to one of the tailors I was thinking of near Nana Station and get my suits done there. Hehehehhe... cheap, personally tailored suits for me!

After that I couldn't resist and went to MBK again, just to pass the day. I walked through a bit of Siam Square, but I guess the street market really doesn't kick up until nighttime. I bought more silk things, and cotton things, and presents and such, but... I did not spend $100. :3 I came close, but I stayed at abour 2500 baht. Though, I also got a pedicure while I was there. ^^;; That was an extra 400 baht, but that doesn't count as shopping expenses! It doesn't!

<_<

*coughs*

I also walked the long way to the hotel, to look at the laundry place. The prices are like... half of the hotel's prices or more. Whoo! Clean clothes for me! Must do that today.

</lj-cut>

So... I must plan to keep myself busy this weekend, even if there's no one around. I make my own fun anyway. :3

Oh! But the goooooooooooooossip!

<lj-cut text="funny taxi rides">

So, it was raining this morning (still is, actually), so I went with some others (Erin, Aikun, and... the girl with short curly hair... Katie, I think) in a taxi to go to school. Anyway, while in the cab, I listened to more tales of the previous night's drunken endeavors (apparently, Aikun sings). Also... a certain classmate, JT, was seen leaving his room early this morning in the company of a... girl. Of course, this means that we HAD to attack JT in class to find out JUST what exactly he was doing.

... he says that she was just a friend.

... but he seems to be in a very happy mood.

Hehehehehe.

Somehow, we also talked in the taxi about certain classmates possibly being gay with each other, or whether they're just friends. Apparently, they're ALWAYS together. What I find particularly amusing, is that one of the guys is Taj... how is actually named Tal, but I spelled his name wrong. XD
</lj-cut>

Now... internet time for me before I go back to the hotel and take a nap. It's rainy and chilly and I want to hibernate before dinner some.

*cuddles* glad you're having fun! If you get the chance to go to phuket, well, I enjoyed it when I was there! Of course, that was all of 11 years ago now, so I imagine things might have changed. If you're at all interested in gorgeous beaches with sand that is almost white, glass bottomed cruises over reef to islands and big colonial houses with very imaginative architecture, then yeah, go to Phuket. Naturally the thing I remember most clearly is that really close to our hotel was this place that did the best buffet breakfast--the pineapple juice will forever be indented on my memory. Plus there was a restaurant we went to, and the roof was the canopy of this huge, ancient tree--just gorgeous. Of course, not that much fun in the rain. ^_^

I wanted to go to Phuket, but I don't really want to go alone. ^^; Call me paranoid. Plus, the weather isn't so nice, but that's because it's rainy season. Maybe I can swing something, though.

And you still don't need to get me anything, but. Uhm. I like "RED!!" stuff. Or green-blue. (not together though :p)

I miss you. T_T
