windandwater: (WTF?!)

Now, I know that I pride myself on writing tripped-out fics, and POVs and other weird things. I love writing things from a different perspective and generally mindfucking my readers.

But... why the hell are my fluffy and humor fics so difficult to understand? Are they really? I mean... I love reviews and feedback, but did anyone else NOT get that "Unapologetic ManSmut" was a parody? That wasn't exactly sophisticated humor.

Tell me honestly, do my fics just fuck people in the head and leave you wondering what the hell happened?

Don't worry I look at some of my reviews and go wtf??? all the time. I'm firmly convinced that 95% of people at FFN don't understand anything.

That's like the review I got where someone laughed over the ending of "Meant for Me." *flinch* It's not funny, people!

>_O

I got a ton of "oh how cute" and "sweet! romantic!" reviews for a fic about one-sided unrequited love topped with the knowledge that one is going to their death.

Subtlety is lost on most people there. And completely unsubtle things don't fare that much better. *facepalm*

That is one of many reasons I don't post on ff.net.

My thing for reviews was that every single story, no matter how it ended, was greated with a chorus of "That's great! Now where's the sequel?" Or, "When are you going to write more?"

Do you people not understand the concept of a ONE-SHOT? *facepalm*

It's kind of depressing, even with knowing that the majority of people on FF.Net are teenyboppers. Still, I like the reviews I get from GWA... and I've been even getting private feedback. X3

Makes me a happy bunny.

I got someone bitching at me for writing a ZechsxRelena fic.

Which was new to me since the fic they were reviewing was 13xRelena.

o_O* WTF? Treize and Zechs don't even look REMOTELY like each other! What, can't the people count?

6 = 13

Obviously not 'cause they had a right go at me.

If it helps, I just had someone recommend that fic to me as the 'funniest thing ever written' and I was a little disappointed to realize I'd already read it. Though it was great fun to read again. ^^;
