Happy Boxing Day!

Okay... maybe not. People don't celebrate Boxing Day in the US, I think.

Anyway, my mom woke me up at about 3pm, because she wanted to make sure I wasn't dead. x__X I hadn't gone to bed until 2am, and I've been getting precious little sleep in the past few days. Of COURSE I'm going to sleep alot!

Bleh. So after rolling out of bed and eating something, we camped out on the couch to watch PotC and Matrix: Reloaded on the shiny new DVDs. *squee!* I am most amused that within the first minute of seeing Jack (and seeing him walk), my mom kept commenting on how he seemed very gay.

Then I had to help my mom move a table, and dad just came home, etc., etc., etc.

Now I am online trying to beat up Gaia and be happy. Managed to catch some people online. aoi isn't on though... and she has presents here.

Oh, now kodalai is online! I can talk to her.

Well I never heard of boxing day so yeah o-o I guess we don't celebrate it.

Pssst, Boxing Day is celebrated by England and some of the countries it colonized (Canada, Australia, New Zealand). I had to look it up. It's actually the Feast of St Stephen, the first Christian martyr.

Boxing Day is celebrated by England

I wouldn't exactly say we celebrate Boxing Day in England. Generally it's the day you spend loungin around the house, watching movies and eating all the leftover food from the day before.

Of course if you really want to celebrate it, you go to a shopping centre and spend large amounts of money on things you don't need just because they're in the sale.
