Gacked from everyone and their mother...
Dec. 12th, 2003 12:08 pmI know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, adore your artworks or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.
Make a neurotic little bunny happy, ne?
And before I hop off to cram more Criminal Procedure into my brain...

I'm a big perv. Oh, wait... everyone knows that. Uhmm... the first series of books I read in childhood was not the "Little House" series or anything like that.
It was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. I was in 4th grade.
I actually didn't start reading Little House or the Narnia Chronicles until I was... like... 13. Or 14. I can't remember.

Date: 2003-12-12 01:12 pm (UTC)Jay and I broke up for a year after we dated for two years. We didn't talk to each other for months. I finally ran into him by accident at the only theatre in the area that was showing that movie. I was with my mom, but I still managed to say hello to him and chat for a couple minutes.
That all led to him coming over to my place to pick up some tapes he'd left behind. A few weeks later I spent Thanksgiving with him and his best friends. Then we went to a birthday party together. The rest, as they say, is history. ♥ ♥ ♥

Date: 2003-12-12 04:09 pm (UTC)you might know that already though >_>;
books were alright, I loved reading (and still do) - but I have never read comics like... Batman or... Spawn or whatever their names are. my parents convinced me that comics were for kids who couldn't read well or didn't want to read books - and since none of those reasons applied to me, there was 'no reason for me to read comics'.
the first 'comic' I bought/read was a Tanemura manga - I was 16... >_>;
I still haven't told my father that I'm fond of reading "comics" because I'm afraid of his reaction >_>
I think my mom knows (I lived with her, it was inevitable that she saw some of my posters/anime/manga), but we haven't really talked about it yet... ^_^; I don't think she really minds though - I'm happy, that's all she cares for. Dad, I suppose would have a fit XD
