Just so everyone knows, I habor a general prejudice against Mondays.



First, the good news.

I just came from talking to the nice financial aid lady to check up on the status of my loan and my enrollment status for the school (since that was in jeopardy). It's been over a week since I submitted the signed form, so I decided to check up just in case. My loan came through, and the funds will be disbursed tomorrow! Yay! I won't be kicked out of school.

Of course, now I'm waiting on when the refund check comes through. She said it would be sometime within 2 weeks. Oh god, I hope it comes before Yaoi-Con. Not only because I'd like to have a bit of spending money (I'm running a tight budget for the next two weeks until the con), but because I'm hurting in the money department. *winces* I already had my parent write me a check, and that covers this month's rent with a bit to spare. The refund check should come before I really start hurting though.

And the bad news.

I just remembered that the final draft of my App Ad paper is due on Monday, October 20th at 6PM.

That's right. The Monday after Yaoi-Con.

So this weekend, I'm going to bust my ass and finish that paper as if it was due NEXT Monday, and not in 2 weeks. That way I can not feel guilty and paranoid. Anyway, I don't get my draft back until tomorrow afternoon. And the majority of the week will me busting ass to get ahead and clear for busting my ass on the paper.

*grunts*

No fun for Sera-chan. Everyone going to Y-Con better love these sacrifices to my sanity that I'm making.

And poor Solo. He's going to be working overtime, too. I hope this doesn't affect his ability to play hot boy pr0n. My DVD drive has already been making loud whirring noises. Louder than normal.

Oh, and Gaia is still a massive whore. *kicks*

I appreciate it! If it makes you feel any better, I'm also going to be busting my butt this week to do all those projects that I figured I could put off indefinitely because they weren't due until October, for heaven's sake. And yet.
