Return Pimpage
Aug. 14th, 2003 05:54 pmSince
zerotwofan is being gracious with the KaworuxShinji goodness, here's return pimpage.
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Springs/5849/index.html
A great page FULL of Kaworu/Shinji pics (offical, fanart, and doujinshi). My favorite is the official pics of the two of them snuggling, and holding hands.

Date: 2003-08-15 12:02 am (UTC)I'm going to post the official cover of the 12th volume of Eva in my LJ. Did you see that pic? It's the one that ADV didn't use. I read the explanation for why, but I don't quite believe it. I should ask Tiffany Grant about it when I see her at AFest. The president of ADV is her husband, Matt Greenfield!
Thanks for giving me another Eva site to bookmark. *hugs*

Date: 2003-08-15 12:57 am (UTC)Wow... didn't think I was so popular as to have people add me to their friends list out of the blue. ^_^;;
And if you like yaoi and anime and law, then I think we can get along fine. Heh. But what do you mean about "non-vanilla"? See, I thought you meant something else. Probably just me and my pervy imaginations though.
And yes, I hope to be going to Yaoi Con again this year, as long as the midterms and such don't get in the way. I really have to check the dates for that. I happen to live in San Francisco, so going to YCon isn't such a big deal for me. Plus, my friends would probably kill me if I didn't attend.
Hopefully you can go, too! It's really a blast.

Date: 2003-08-15 01:13 am (UTC)What is your author's name on Fanfiction.net? I love fanfiction! (I'm writing a couple stories right now, but I have the feeling that they are sucking big time, and I'm tempted to just chuck the one...) I enjoyed your Gundam Wing lemon, although I can't read any GW with more plot - I haven't seen it yet (something that is soon to be remedied, with the help of netflix).
What classes are you taking? What kind of law do you want to practice? What's your most hated/favorite class so far?
If you don't want to continue a law school discussion in your journal, feel free to IM (jajukaxx) or ICQ (240397781) me and continue it there.
Ja ne!
Re: Greetings!
Date: 2003-08-15 01:33 am (UTC)And I go by the penname Sailor Seraphim (just go through the links I pimped out). Gundam Wing is my main fandom right now, though I dabble in a few others if I get the chance (or whim) to. >_<; My Muses are vicious. I really liked the series, though the UC people bash it. I actually LIKED the plot of GW... but I'm a political science major, so maybe that's the reason why. Plus... bishies!
As for the school side of things, don't worry about it. Once the school year starts rolling, this LJ turns into a vertible cesspool of stress and law related angst.
This year I'm taking: Appellate Advocacy, Criminal Procedure I, Constitutional Law II, Property II, and International Organizations. I want to have an emphasis on International Law, but I'm considering picking up either Immigration or Intellectual Property, as well.
And I loved Criminal Law because it was interesting (and I got a B in the class), but I would never want to practice it. Same with Torts, because people lost limbs in Torts. The 1L curriculum, I think, is specifically created to weed everyone out of law school, as it is very dull and boring.
How about you?
Re: Greetings!
Date: 2003-08-15 01:57 am (UTC)My favorite class so far has been Criminal Law (and my highest grade, woot!), with my least favorite being Contracts. Our Contracts professor taught this intellectual approach, and all the cases were *ancient* - so boring! I liked Crim Law because of the interesting (but bad!) things that happened to everyone. The internship I had over the summer has made me reconsider Criminal Law as a possible field of practice; it almost seems to be a calling... International criminal litigation - that's the ticket! ;)
We should create a stressed out law school student community! Both of my close friends from Law School are also on livejournal, so we've got a pretty big base started ;).
I guess my major fandom is Inuyasha, if I had to pick one. I have a feeling that GW is going to become a favorite, once I see it. I'm also watching (and loving) Kenshin at the moment. I saw Gravitation a week or so ago and LOVED it. Fruits Basket is another favorite. Truthfully, I've seen a lot of anime, and there's only a few (Strawberry Eggs, Key, et al) that I haven't loved. I haven't seen anything that I truly disliked.
And hey. I've seen lots of Gundam pics - I don't care what the plot is like, the bishies have got to make up for it. The anime is worth watching for the bishie factor alone! :)
