Eventful? Maybe... no... not really...
Jun. 22nd, 2003 11:52 pmWell, I finished reading OotP in the wee hours of this morning, thus fulfilling my desire to finish the whole book within 24 hours of starting it. I would've finished sooner, but I was mostly reading the book on and off the whole day. I shall not rant about what I thought about it, because that's for a different post entirely, once I wrap my brain around it.
So, dead tired, I went to sleep. Then was woken up by my parents, who decided to drag me to church. Damn. Once again, I amused myself by thinking pervy things. And we had another new priest. I think all the missionaries come through our doors or something.
Anyway, my parents tried to pull a fast one on me by not telling me that we were going to LA directly after church. But once I caught wind of that, I complained. Very good complaints, too... mostly centered on the fact that I don't carry a purse (just a wallet) and you can't put tampons in a wallet. That's all you really need to know. And it was some stupid meeting for people who lived in the same hometown in the Philippines as my dad, and then moved here to the US. It's endlessly dull and boring and I'm glad I got to dodge the bullet.
Once home the first thing I did was... sleep. I managed to get a good few hours in before I rolled out of bed again.
*cheers*
Now I have to spend the next feverish days trying to finish my fics for the contests. I'll have them done! I swear!
... am now captured by the need to re-read OotP again, to see if I missed anything.
Random Factoid: My dad bought mangoes. I love mangoes. ^______^
... there was something else I was going to say, but I've totally forgotten it. Dammit. I hate when this happens.
