I checked my horoscope today in the newspaper and it said that today would be a good day for me to go shopping. As it was, I had planned to see aoi today, so we could get a good animefest in. What ended up happening was us hitting the mall (Suncoast!), and then the two Best Buys in the area.

It DID turn out to be a good day for shopping. I picked up the first Saiyuki DVD and Read or Die. See, the Saiyuki DVD was priced at $19.99, but there was a little sign that said it was on sale for $16.99. When it rang up at the register at the higher price, I argued with the salesguy about it. ^____^ I got to get it for the lower price, but it turns out the sign was left up on accident and they took it down.

*hee!* Go me! I scored cheaper anime!

I had wanted to buy X:4 and X:5, since Aoi-chan said they were on sale there, but all I could find was X:4. *growls* But, I saw the Kenshin OVA for Revenge Arc, which I am now lusting over. Enishi! Yay! I think I'll wait until AX though, and try to get a better deal there. They weren't on sale, and I really wanted to buy the volumes of X together.

I also had ice cream while at the mall. Ice cream! Yay! Hey, you would cheer, too... it was 103 degrees today. *sizzle*

Anyway, watched the first episode of RoD with Aoi-chan, then finished off the DVD when she left. Kya! It's so good! And it had yuri vibes. XD I'll probably try to watch Saiyuki tomorrow, and try to build up some writing vibes.

Ah, and Aoi-chan developed the pictures of herself, kodalai and I at Disneyland! I badgered her to scan them. ^^v

Oh, and skyblueandblack? I think I might be able to go to LA on Friday. The maternal unit was noncommital and hostile, but I think I can go. I'll just make sure to bring the keys so I don't get locked out of the house again.

All in all, I think it was a very good day.

Whee! *bounces* Little Tokyo trip!

But neither of you are allowed into the apartment, cos I don't have time or energy to clean. I barely have time and energy to have clean laundry. XD
