I told [livejournal.com profile] skyblueandblack that I would tell her who won. Heh... I so adore this show.

Battle Tokyo X -- Semi-Finals

Iron Chef Italian Kobe vs. Iron Chef Chinese Kenichi
Theme: Pork
Winner: Kenichi

... I so wasn't surprised. Kenichi has got the best stats out of all the Iron Chefs.

Battle Tokyo X -- Semi-Finals

Iron Chef French Sakai vs. Iron Chef Japanese Morimoto
Theme: Unknown
Winner: Unknown

BWHAHAHAHAH... I can't wait to see this battle next Saturday!

Iron Chef slash.

Just let those three words rattle around in your head for awhile.

XD

And it's Morimoto! He kicked Bobby Flay's ass.

*waves Morimoto flag vigorously*

He looked up, sharply. The intensity of his near-whisper cut to my heart. "Does Kaga speak of me?"

Forget Kaga, I wanted to shout. Has he ever noted the wild succulence of your dishes? Is he the one who came all the way to Canada to find you? Are you blind?

X| Owie. I can't believe there's a Iron Chef Shack.

And it's Morimoto! He kicked Bobby Flay's ass.

Pfft. Flay's a whiny pansy-weasel .

I guess you'll see I'm right on Saturday.

*grin*

*giggles* I liked the asparagus. That was so Freudian it was amazing.

*announcer voice* Also, I appluad the use of bonito flakes in this fic, as they add just the right touch of succulence in already flavorful story.

Pfft. Flay's a whiny pansy-weasel.

He is. He very much is. I can't watch him on Food Network at all, because I get this insane urge to throttle him. I also don't like Emeril. His "BAM" makes me watch to froth at the mouth and attack. Thank god he was never on Iron Chef.

I'd watch Iron Chef with Emeril.

... If he's the secret ingredient! Now *that's* cooking with Emeril!

... I don't think he would taste good no matter HOW you cooked him. Not even Morimoto could save this dish.

Hm... you never know, Morimoto can work culinary miracles!

Fermented soybean. It's sorta smelly and sticky. The look on Kaga's face when he announced it was priceless.

Then there was Kenichi trying to use yogurt. He always gets stuck with the strangest things to use.

LOL But he uses them well. Cos he's Kenichi-sama.

... but you're right. I can't imagine eating something with fermented soybean in it. I applaud the taste-testers for their bravery there. >_
