A busy night!

windandwaterHeh... the family went out again today to shop and left me home alone to wallow in my misery. Of course, it's not really misery, since I got to, well... wallow around like a sloth. Naps are Very Good Things.

aoi came over and visited. I was finally able to give her the Christmas present that skyblueandblack left for her, and the one from me, too. Also... I got a present! It had more than one part! *squees happily*
Plus, what I consider the best thing, is that me and Aoi-chan got to talk alot. We have a tendency to have long, rambling conversations that touch on everything and nothing and suit us both just fine. I think we talked for about three hours. My voice finally started to give out on me. ^^;; Of course, that was mostly because of being sick, but still... it's pretty cool.
I think this conversation was mostly centered around fandom. Gundam Wing was first and foremost, of course, after we mutally squee-ed over the presents we got. Actually, the first item of conversation is the brutal IM-ing that Aoi-chan is getting. Jeeze... I still can't wrap my brain about it. I mean, they (whoever they are) continuously call her a bitch, and blab on and on about how Heero and Duo are the perfect couple and shouldn't be broken up.
Yes... they're trying to convert Aoi-chan to the Cult of 1x2x1.
It makes my head hurt. I mean... why harass someone you do NOT KNOW, just to try to get them to like something? It's weird. Yes, I fall into the Cult of 1x2x1... but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy other tasty pairings/threesomes/etc as well. In fact, I enjoy writing things for Aoi-chan (Blue Series, if it has any romantic things at all, are almost all non-canon pairings)... she's the one who started me writing the improvs that make up Blue. Plus, I shamelessly use her to beta my work, or toss ideas at her... yes, even the 1x2x1 ones. Hell, without her, I wouldn't have FINISHED my MoR fic.
Amazing for a person who's an Ichigo Girl, ne?
Ahhh... *shakes head* I shouldn't get upset over it. Aoi-chan isn't. She's just amused. Actually, I am too, when my brain isn't screaming at me about the insanity of it all.
Let's see... we also talked about the HP fandom, Sunhawk's fics, train wrecks, mind-bending movies, college life, the evilness that is set grading curves, the fact that my relatives talk about me in Filipino when it's obvious that I'm in earshot, and our mutal lack of writing ability. *giggles* Aoi-chan is so cool... even if I have to maliciously prod her for those fics she's writing. ^__^;;
And we've decided that I will wear my "Seme" shirt and she will wear her "Uke" shirt and we will go to a Con like this. Maybe at AX... that's the next Con on my list. Gah... now it sounds like I go to alot of them.
Also, after much prodding, I think that I may be writing too much 1x2x1. Yes, yes, I know... there's NEVER enough 1x2x1. But there's a bunch of fics that I have that are "alternate" pairings, and I'd really like to finish them. Yes, a bunch of them I attribute to Aoi-chan's influence, but I'm still writing them. As much as I like 1x2x1, I think I might burn out if I write it too much. Heaven forbid if my fics get cliche. >__<;; I might have to start killing off characters in fics more, or driving them even MORE insane, or... I don't know... doing something weird and surrealistic that will only make my head explode if I think about it.
And I just went in a full circle, so I'm stopping here.
