Slashy fangirl-ness

Whee! I got to see CoS!!! There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but hell, I'll put my spin on it. This movie was much better than the first one for many reasons.

1. The whole tone of the movie was darker. Complex plots always r0xx0r.

2. Many of the boys hit puberty... whee! It's not quite so shouta anymore! And MY GOD, I *love* Harry's voice. I loved Tom's voice. I always love Snape's voice. And ROn's voice cracked when he was scared! It's so cute! And if I rave about Draco's voice, I may embarass myself.

3. Parseltongue kicks ass.

4. I, too, liked Myrtle. I think her crush on Harry is amusing. Also, I thought she looked like a female!Harry. Aoi-chan agrees.

5. LUCIUS MALFOY WAS GODDAMN SEXY! I was going into fits over that black bow her used to tie his hair back. He was also ALL OVER Harry at Flourish and Blott's. But... dude... what was up with the Avada Kadavra? Are you nuts?

6. DRACO MALFOY IS ONE SEXY BITCH AND I DON'T CARE IF I'M A PERV! He's going to be very pretty when he grows up. I didn't understand the random stealing and destroying of public property, but I can overlook it because he's pretty. And I agree with Aoi-chan... Draco does that "eyebrow thing" at Weasleys. Maybe he likes redheads. But I still like him best with Harry.

7. QUIDDITCH. 'Nuff said.

8. Tom Riddle. He just needed to stand there and talk. Seriously. If Harry looks like him when he grows up, I can die a happy fangirl.

9. The special effects were *cool.*

10. Did I mention the overall slashy vibe of the movie? Poor Wood... his handle got... circumcised. *snerk* Plus the whole "Your hand is all sweaty" line... I had to tell myself that I wasn't going to slash Hagrid with ANYONE, even if Harry came up to his waist. o_O*

The only thing I didn't like was that when Aoi-chan and I were leaving the theater, we were squealing over the slashiness going over the movie's finer points when these three movie worker people overheard us. They were three guys (not cute at all) and they were mocking our conversation. In our EARSHOT. I got pissed. So, I shoved my hands in my pockets and said in a VERY LOUD VOICE: "But Draco Malfoy is one sexy bitch and I don't care if I'm a pedophile." I managed to sneak a glance out of the corner of my eye, and saw that the three wankers were watching us with these dumbstruck expressions. I was highly amused. Also, I was wearing my black trenchcoat and felt very seme. A good day all around.
