I should've known that today would be a baka!baka!Monday. I woke up with about 15 minutes to get ready for school or else I would miss my train. Fortunately, because it's a holiday (one that *I* couldn't enjoy dammit, because it doesn't count as a *real* holiday for school), there was tons of open parking. The BART was also amazingly not crowded for a Monday morning. Lucky bastards didn't have to go to work. Humph!
On an aside, the weather is freaking me out a bit. It was raining cats and dogs last night, but today it was sunny with highs in the 70s. I don't much enjoy wearing multiple layers one day, then a tee-shirt the next. I'm getting paranoid over what to wear to school, since I generally don't leave until it's dark... and cold. Good thing I always have a jacket with me.
So got to school and spaced out during Civil Procedure, which I really shouldn't do, because finals is in about a month. But I *swear* that I understood about a defendant removing a case from Federal court to State court... it's just all these people started asking *questions* that had the same damn answer. It was pretty funny, because M-kun was in fine form today. There's nothing like listening to him mutter under his breath about our, in his words, "fucking stupid" classmates. Hey, it keeps me awake. I've recently started taking bets against myself about who's going to suffer from a heart attack or spontaneously go into a catatonic state first, me or him. I swear, his blood pressure must be through the roof.
Lunch was blah, but I managed to get half my Torts reading done. The chapter's like, 100 pages long. I did get to have a mild bitching session with S-san today. The topic was why the BART is *stupid* for making us have to pay for parking. Hello! There's a reason why people take the BART! It's so we don't have to pay horrendous prices for parking! Aren't the taxes and ticket sales enough, you greedy bastards?! *takes a deep breath* I shouldn't work myself up again. Torts class was blah, too, but I did manage to read enough not to get caught. As it was, I was blindsided during the discussion and had to pull the definition of "res ipsa loquitur" out of my ass. It wasn't pleasant.
I need to get all my work for this week done by tomorrow, considering that I want to spend the rest of the week doing this damned research for my Memo. Gah! I'm gonna be spending a lot of late nights in the library this week. I think I'm actually going to *enjoy* spending Thanksgiving weekend at home. Maybe not... I'm going to try and grab some decent study time. Okay, that's a lie. I'm going to eat turkey and then go shopping. ^^;;
Oh... and this week the chibis will be invading. My cousins are staying at the house because their mom is going to some sort of conference. They like me for strange, unknown reasons. It's okay. I'm going to try and corrupt one of them to Gundam Wing. She's old enough.
