i just finished reading Shelters of Stone by Jean M. Auel.

and yes, i really really wan the next book now. i got it in my hands and read from 7 PM to 2:30 AM, before i dropped of exhaustion and the fact that reading this damn book was making me crazy.

then i picked it up again at Noon and finished reading it now. 3 PM.

:::starts to growl:::

and i like the mamutoi better than the zeladonii. why? because the zeladonii are, you know, french.

so...

... who wants to borrow this book next?

Aoi-chan, you still have my Nirvana CD and Stranger in a Strange Land.

K-chan, you have my Miyu tapes and The Color Purple.

I bet Aoi-chan is gonna get her hands on it first.

^^;;

because, you know, my life is totally random. especially my thoughts. whatever. i need to shut up. i'm getting all ranty and long-winded and babbling, an NO i am not writing that treatise on the comparisons and contrasts between Anakin and Luke Skywalker, dammit!

and i'm not writing that PWP where heero and duo are getting it on and wufei is watching and jacking himself off, so you three naughty Muses can go away and leave me alone.

but that wasn't my random thought.

my random thought was this:

if i ever go "chii!" you have all authority to thwap me stupid.

that is all.

... this proves just how much yaoi has invaded my life. it's a teeny tiny spoiler for Shelters. don't worry. it's safe.

so, i was reading through the book and ayla's meeting a damn lot of people and suddenly, there it is. black letters on white print.

a line to the effect of "he was almost feminine."

i SQUEALED.

yes, the book i bought has YAOI. and not just any yaoi, PREHISTORIC SHAMAN YAOI. see, he's a Zelandonii... one of the "religious" leaders. :::chuckles::: and he's got a boyfriend!

:::squeals:::

yeah, there was nothing better than reading "... she understood that he was more than a friend. More like a mate..."

i'm going to go away and be fangirlishly thrilled now.
