my day was a day of a day
Sep. 21st, 2002 11:24 pmi got to pretend that i had a life today. yuppers, i actually spent the day out fo the house doing errands and stuffs.
i made my appointment with LensCrafters for tomorrow at 11:30 AM. of course, that meant that i had to figure out where Southland Mall was. road trip time! i actually made it to the freeway in one piece but traffic was shit (when is traffic not shit around the Bay Area? now you know why i take the BART). i found the mall okay and actually had chinese for lunch (i had an apple for breakfast). i then spent a couple of hours wandering through the mall. just mindless stuff i don't indulge in very often because i don't like going to public places alone. it's not as fun as when you're with a friend or two. ^_^ i did, however, drop into Suncoast and skimmed the anime. i also browsed through the Animerica (it's got X and Saber Marrionette J and End of EVA).
after that, i hopped back on the freeway and headed to my personal shopping area (the place i go to for groceries and stuffs). see? i had to buy things. real things. like food. and highlighters. so first i went to Border's (damn them!) to see if they had a copy of Piers Anthony's DoOon Mode, which is the last book in the Mode Series and i've been waiting like five years for it. it wasn't there. i'm seriously considering ordering it online and having it shipped. i want the book, dammit! while i was there i also pawed through the graphic novels/manga and managed to read the first two volumes of Chobits. damn... CLAMP strikes again. i'm gonna have to watch the anime, even though the series is full of raunchy humor (like whenever the main character pops a big one in his pants... it's hilarious). yay for CLAMP!
then off to Office Max to buy a new phone (one with an answering machine/message recorder) and a 12-pack of highlighters. yes, i killed another one this week. i'm insanely proud of that fact. plus, they're pretty colors. highlighter colors.
i also goggled at the specialty printer paper. i'm considering making some new shirts for Yaoi-Con. i'll have to see if i can find some pictures that will work.
i also stopped by at Michael's to look at shirts and crafty things. i left all my felt at home, so now i can't make new GBoy plushies. i really want to make them in their series outfits, then my angel!Heero and Shinigami!Duo. :::giggle:::
last stop of the day was Albertson's. yay! food! i did my grocery shopping and visited the ATM there (the damn machine that uses credit cards to pay for BART tickets is broken). i bought my yummy food. i even bought some cornish game hens to indulge.
why, yes, i did cook one of them and ate it for my dinner. why do you ask?
all in all, a good day. i'm gonna have to wake up earlier than i like tomorrow (i wanna shower before i go to get my eyes checked), but i have the rest of the day to nap so it all works out.
whew!
